Blowback: “Kosovars” Strike Again
Chronicles ^ | 3/3/11 | Srdija Trifkovic

The jihadist murder of two American servicemen by a “Kosovar”-Albanian Muslim at Frankfurt Airport on March 2 combines the fruits of the United States’ criminally misguided Balkan policy over the past two decades and of Europe’s suicidal immigration policy since the 1960’s. While it is probably too late to have either of them reversed, hope springs eternal: the deaths of two young Americans should remind us of where we stand with “Kosovars” in particular and Jihadist infiltrators into the Western world in general......

Kosovo’s Albanians we know from the news fall into two categories. One group consists of “Kosova’s” pro-Western, secular, democratic leaders with whom Hillary Clinton feels “honored to be friends and partners.” They are also, as the Western powers have known all along, mass murderers and organ harvesters, starting with “Prime Minister” Hashim Thaci. They are Europe’s leading drug smugglers, arms and people traffickers. They are among the world’s richest Mafia bosses—er, “controversial tycoons”—like “President” Behgjet Pacolli. They run the most lawless, violent, depraved entity in today’s Europe.

Another group of media-visible Kosovo Albanians are Islamic terrorists like Arif Uka (21) who was shouting Allahu Akbar! and Jihad, Jihad! as he opened fire in Frankfurt. This was an act of Islamic terrorism, of course, but the German authorities tried to pretend, at first, that this episode of Sudden Jihad Syndrome had nothing to do with terrorism.

"Kosovar", a phony politically created quasi ethnic identity to denote "an Albanian from Kosovo". How much is the US supposed to continue to pay for THAT failed policy?

They will persist until the length of their stupidity is reached.

A very long time indeed.

Outrageous how we treated the Serbs. Under Clinton/Albright many Serb women and children were killed even though they never posed a threat to us.

I can empathize. As someone who'd studied the Balkans long before the 1990's wars, I've been feeling that way for the last 20 years. The results of of our policy stupidity have been so predictable that it wouldn't be far-fetched to call them suicidal.

Apparently it was "Sudden Jihad Syndrome", striking again -- although Murad's grandfather was an imam.

..."I am still in shock; I can not believe what has happened," Murat Uka (the shooter's father) told Reuters by phone from his home in Germany. "I am really, really sorry about what has happened."

"I express my deep condolences," said Uka, whose voice betrayed his emotion.

Uka said he regretted that U.S. airmen were the victims of the attack, in which two other service personnel were wounded.

"The American people are the best friends of Albanians," he said....

Seems like it's a bit of a one-sided relationship, this "best friends" thing, with Albanians.

How can a Kosovar possibly complain about the United States? It was Bill Clinton and Dick Holbrooke who allowed the KLA to take Kosovo for the Albanians and drive out the Serbs, The Rom, and yes, even the Jews!

Talk about biting the hands that fed them!

‘Outrageous how we treated the Serbs. Under Clinton/Albright many Serb women and children were killed even though they never posed a threat to us.’

Truly one of the more egregious blunders of recent US foreign policy, and now in their gratitude the KLA Albanian Muslim thugs “repay” the USA by shooting our servicemen overseas. What makes it even more infuriating is that alongside Clinton and Albright, the Bush Administration was duped into compounding the Clinton Administration’s criminality by giving sovereign recognition to Kosovo, a state with no viable economy other than human trafficking and drugs/gun smuggling.

It’s the neocons who were responsible for this. They’re not “conservative” in anything but name— they were the ones pushing for the violation of international law and recognition of Kosovo at the end of Bush’s term. A good thing that the neoconservative traitors and infiltrators are being pushed out of the true conservative movement for their crimes, which unsurprisingly have even led to the loss of brave US troops for all our troubles.

Even the Albanians in Albania proper, want nothing to do with the Kosovar Albanians.

The Tosks have always rejected the Ghegs. I always stated that it would be best that Serbia occupy North Mitrovica to protect the monasteries and Serbian heritage sites and then Serbia should barter an agreement with Albania to to wall of the rest of Kosovo like a tourniquet to let that diseased body part die off.

The only good thing about Enver Hoxha’s rule in Albania, is that he pretty much killed off Islam in Albania (Christianity too, for that matter). Kosovo, on the other hand, was under Tito, who was a bit more tolerant of religion, so Islam still flourishes there.

His motivation was to use religion as a population control mechanism, “tolerance” is a term that should be used rather loosely when referring to Tito.

His only reason for tolerating Albanian criminality was to prevent Serbs for returning to Kosovo after WWII. Clever little bugger that Tito...

Thank you for that, patriot. I go to that website when I need inspiration, and I had hoped others saw it, but was never sure.

"Kosovo, on the other hand, was under Tito, who was a bit more tolerant of religion, so Islam still flourishes there."

I agree but I think that it was a lot bigger than that.

Post WWII, Tito wanted to be "The Stalin of the Balkans", which is why he broke with Stalin to begin with, not that he was any the less communist.

Tito supplied the communist side of the Greek civil war. Greek children were taken to and through Yugoslavia by the communists during their civil war as hostages, because Tito wanted power over Greece. Tito gave the Kosovo Albanians schools and institutions in the their language because Tito hoped to get a grip over Albania too, but Enver Hoxha beat him to the punch. It's also one reason why Hoxha embraced Chinese communism in Albania because he never trusted Stalin or Tito not to make a deal to sell him out and make Tito the big boss. Tito was still ready on stand by with his little Kosovo Albanian army if Hoxha ever became vulnerable. But Tito just never lived long enough to see it, and by the time it happened, the Soviet Union was in it's death throws and a new game was in town.

Overall, Tito's way of managing the ethnicities in Yugoslavia was to play them off of one another so that none became independent enough to function on their own. The Slovenes were allowed to be the most capitalistic and economically successful in one sense, but Tito then funneled that money through Belgrade to support the Albanians in Kosovo. Tito exploited the Muslim countries of the non-aligned movement for weapons commerce and allowed them to build mosques in Bosnia. But he kept a tight grip over the Serbs because they were the largest minority in the country and the greatest threat, having had a history of parliamentary democracy and of rebellion. Serbs were forced to declare loyalty to Yugoslavia, not Serbia, while everyone else was fighting for their own. Serbs were forced to tow the communist party line when Slovenia could have a McDonald's and it would still be considered "communist enough". Tito believed in the adage, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer still." Serbs were always Tito's most realistic potential enemy and he knew it.
