IIRC, when GWB threw out the first pitch in Yankee Stadium after 9-11, I believe he was told by Posada “Whatever you do, DON’T BOUNCE IT UP HERE....they’ll boo ya!!”
With MILLIONS watching, he threw a strike.
Bush was a man. I disagree completely with his views on a lot of things, but he loves his country and didn’t apologize for being a man.
Thank God he was President on 9/11.
