Speaking of the shoes: last weekend the family went to the Smithsonian American History museum, and wandered into the First Ladies' Inaugural Gown exhibit. Laura Bush's red gown was beautiful! Front and center was Michelle's gown & shoes. The shoes were HUGE. My daughter said they were at least a size 12. Michelle's got nothing on Peggy Hill!
Michelle's bedspread is on display at the Smithsonian? Well, I guess they also have old quilts there too.
Poor Michelle, she's not very feminine. I think her manly figure is what attracted Barry to her. I cringe each time she's compared to Jackie Kennedy. IMHO, judging them for poise and grace, Michelle Obama could never hope to be in the same universe as Jackie Kennedy, Nancy Reagan or Laura Bush.
