For the first time in my life, I'm embarrassed to be an American.
Last weekend, as tens of thousands of Japanese were fighting for their lives after an 8.9 earthquake devastated their nation, our President, after giving a generic "We're with you" statement, remained noticeably absent.
Not really absent -- Obama could be found on the golf course Saturday afternoon.
As a Japanese nuclear reactor melted down and threatened a catastrophe of biblical proportions, Obama was otherwise engaged Saturday night, having a rollicking good time at Washington D.C.'s annual Gridiron Dinner. Joking with journalists.
There is something quite shameful about watching our President attending a dress-up dinner, trolling for laughs, as one of America's allies struggles for life. I'm embarrassed for America, and I send my personal apologies to the Japanese people for the insensitivity of our President.
A meltdown would be a benefit to Obama’s agenda.
I am never personally embarrassed by what they do.
moslems do not see non-moslems as people. The Japanese are not moslem.
I’m not embarrassed to be an American. I’m embarrassed to have such a president.
moslems do not see non-moslems as people. The Japanese are not moslem.
No, it’s sort of a collateral embarrassment.
I’m proud to be an American. I am ashamed of Obama.
Don’t ever equate Obama with America.
HEY BOZO! The Yamaha plant is in flames and you won’t be
able to get parts for your golf cart! (That should get his
attention!)
When I was in my early 20s, I was at a party where another girl about my age was spouting off about having recently been overseas and being embarrassed to be an American due to Ronald Reagan and his “cowboy” ways. I told her off, in utter disgust.
I would do the same with this author, or to anyone who would express “embarrassment” at the privilege of being an American citizen. I know the point she’s trying to get across here, but we should never confuse our heritage with the traitors who may emerge among us.
he is the paaar-tay Prez!
I’m proud to be an American. I don’t consider Obama or the Left to be American, in fact, they are the Anti-Americans.
I’m proud to be an American. I’m ashamed in the short-sighted, gushing, self-righteous so-called “intelligentsia” that thought that an affirmative action vote would somehow right the perceived wrongs that our media and foreign agencies had thrown attached to a brick through our country’s very expensive storefront window.
We have an embarrassing situation—a person in the White house who hates America and won’t show who he is..........the embarrassing part is no one has the guts to challenge the freak.
I'm ashamed that our President is not... truly an American, that is he not proud of us, and that his behavior has been, and continues to be disgraceful.
I’m not embarrassed to be an American. Obama and his cohorts don’t represent Americans.
Ladies and gentlemen, the affirmative action President of the United States.
There’s less than two years of this assclown Ubama left.
Since I did NOT (and would not) vote for Stroker, I have nothing to be embarrassed about.
Rather, I believe that those that did and continue to support the Narcissist-in-chief, should hang their heads in shame.
Naturally, I know that they will not do so, as they know no shame. Their character is that flawed.
