History of Jewish Community in Pakistan

Before the independence of Pakistan from British ruler at sub continent there is majority of Jewish community who lived here. Jewish community lived in Karachi and Peshawar. Jewish community lived peacefully in Pakistan.

But after the creation of Islamic republic of Pakistan Jewish community worried from Muslim fundamentalist Jewish community leave Pakistan and minority of Jew live in Pakistan.

Jews Community who’s basically belong from bani Israel, Now a day all around the world people particularly Muslim community Hate Jews people. Historically one of the desired nations of the world. Jews one of the first nation who received meal from God in a shape of Man O Salva. But later Jews community didn’t follow the Rule of God Instruction and then God Ordered him to out from Holy land of Palestine after that Jews Spread in Whole World.

Later couple of centuries Jews lived in different area of the world and different community behave badly with Jews. In different centuries Govt Killed Jews people, so many time Jews community afflict and other community brutal But some time other community badly affect and Jews vicious.

In 1948 Jews again select Palestine for there home land and till now they live in Holy land of Palestine in war position.

Now a day Jews community lived around the world especially in UK, USA and Denmark. Jews people have money, mind and how know of politics and all other material that why they rule behind the scene also they top in all places and things. But in some Islamic countries not easy for Jews people living Because Islamic fundamentalist attack Jews society. At present situation after Israel Denmark is the second one country in the world where Jewish society in majority.

Pakistan one of the Islamic republic where before partition a great number Jews lived but after the partition and change the activities of Pakistani community Jews migrate different countries. Pakistan made by Islamic name in constitution of Pakistan minority people have own right but here is no safe place for Jews after partition. Different community i.e. Hindu, Sikh, Parsi, ahmedi, agha khani, Buddhist and Christian people live in Pakistan some time Islamic fundamentalist make hurdle for there people but these community live safely in Pakistan but Jews one of main community who is disturb from Muslim community and they not safe from Muslim fundamentalist.

In Pakistan history there is only 2 thousands 5 hundred Jews who lived in Karachi also they lived in Peshawar Majority of Jews community lived in Ghanta Ghar Peshawar who is attached with different type of work in businesses many of them were business of Carpet. Jews community lived in different type of homes in Peshawar city which now a day at very poor position these homes now in Jehangir Pora, Ram Pora. The main identity of Jews homes is different types of stars, which used for fresh air hols. Jews who lived in Peshawar migrate from Afghanistan and Central Asia that times the rich Jews of Peshawar Benjamin Khafi is one of the top Jew in Peshawar who is businessman. Later in the bad condition and cruelty of a Muslim society he and his family leaved Peshawar and migrate to India then Israel where his new generation live.

Karachi city who is the first capital city of Pakistan after partition maximum Jews lived there but the creation of the Israel the Muslim community attack them and they migrate to Israel. In 1968 there is 2500 Jews lived in Karachi basically these peoples migrate from Maharashtra (India) in 1893 Salmon David is first Jews who made holy place for prayer named megan in Karachi where Jews pray after decade 1980 this holy place of Jews destroyed by property dealer and now here is commercial building in 1903 at Karachi. There is so many social organizations who worked in Karachi for Jews peoples. Top one is young man Jewish Association also there is Bani Israel relief fund named organization for the Jewish community Jewish sandarac is other organization who worked in Karachi for Jewish community. This sandeate promote poor Jewish people and organization give homes to low-income Jewish peoples.

Ibrahim Rabbi is first one Jewish Pakistani whom is 1936 first city consular in Karachi Jews of Karachi work different type they attach with business, also there is poet and Jewish community some Jews also govt employ but after separation Jews migrate to India and then Israel. The Jews community lived in Karachi at Ran Chor area.

When Jews select Palestine for there homeland Pakistani people hat Jews and some time they attack Jews and there holy places in 1948, 1956 also in 1967 there is a lot attack from local community to Jewish. 1968 only 250 Jewish live in Karachi. Ayub Khan who is the president of Pakistan that timed at Jewish population migrate to Israel.

Some Jews migrate to UK, USA and also India and so many lived here but they live under ground and they hide himself from Muslim community.

After attack a lot Jews who migrate to Israel now live in Ramala where they Make Megan name holy place where Jews belong from Karachi pray in that holy place.

Now a day there is no Registered Jewish in Pakistan the Jewish community hide himself from Muslim extremist
