There is important research to be done before he can respond in depth. Is Japan a state? If it is, is it a red state or a blue state and how many electoral votes does it have? If not, then somebody else is president of it and it is not Our problem. Is it close to Rio? That could affect important travel plans. Isn't it by the Pacific Ocean? Does it put the western regionals at risk.
You don't just start taking questions from the press without getting the facts. You must think being president is easy but it's really a lot of work.
How pathetic and weak was this evasive comment about speaking later? Sick.
How does a President who condones slaugher by inaction and does not have military cargo planes dropping rice and water and blankets right now receive a Nobel Peace Prize before he had done anything?
