Gee, the MSM have not been out reporting this and preaching about the need for civility. They have not said that the MSM which have constantly attacked Wisconsin Republicans and the Democrat operatives bussed into Illinois are to blame. They have not demanded that the MSM adopt a more “civil tone” and “tone down the rhetoric”.
The “civility” hypocrites in the Democrat Party and the MSM have not said one word about this or the personal threats and death threats that others have received.

I have a neighbor...a nice guy... well-known...but he has recently been posting more and more political trash on his facebook page...at first, I was interested, but yesterday I decided to block it because it had gotten to the point that I actually thought that he was losing it. I seriously thought that he was going round-the-bend. He used to be a well-known libertarian, but he recently announced his affiliation with that new progressive group that Russ Feingold is heading.
I had a discussion last night with someone who was extremely well-informed about the California threats after the gay marriage resolution failed. This person rightly likened the intimidation that is occurring in Wisconsin to the sorts of things that happened in California to anyone who publicly opposed the gay marriage resolution.
We are seeing a pattern now on the left when things do not go their way that is very disturbing.

And some people want to know why conservatives “foolishly” cling to guns rather than rely on the cops for protection. What is one supposed to do when the police union is complicit in the crime?

It would appear that both the rule of law and the social contract between citizens and law enforcement has broken down in Madison.
Both this story and the ones linked below have drawn a line in the sand.
The governor's reaction better be decisive.
Declare a state of emergency.
Close down the University.
Hunt down and eliminate the vermin.
Tolerating this level of lawlessness, by the "public safety" segment can't be tolerated. Their professionalism has broken down, and validated the fear of the inevitable corruption that results when "unions" are coddled and allowed to run wild.
Time to fire the entire bunch and start over.
Can there be any clearer justification for the elimination of public employee unions?
Time to take Public Safety duties Back
Real Thug Ultimatum
Our duty to protect ourselves is only loaned to organized police and fire departments. We can always take it back.
Sometimes it's clearly our duty to take it back.
Time for an ultimatum.
Where is the local city council on this?
What is their position?

Use all means allowed under the law to protetct oneself in self-defense. If things in Madison are as bad as they appear, Those two statements are mutually incompatible!

If this course is not changed, it will end with show trials, labor camps, and people being stuffed in ovens. Don’t think it can happen here? That’s what your average German shopkeeper thought in 1927.

The local city council in Madistan, Wisconsin?
It is to laugh. The entire county is run by progressives and the city is Marxist.
To: madinmadtown
In the past, leftists were a small, vocal minority pushing for policy measures that advanced their agenda of eventually achieving a socialist state. They feel like they have achieved dominant status at this point. They are not a majority of the people but they now control all “commanding heights” of the nation except for the military (and they are working on that one.) When the dwindling majority fights back to preserve its freedom, the leftists now are not pushing the existing order to change, they are the existing order. They will fight to the death against the “counter revolution”.

In all honesty, I don’t think that would even matter to the radical Left. It might with sensible Independents.
Who was violent during the Sixties?... And yet who gets blamed for violence to this day (through the Left’s projection)?
It will all get rationalized away by the Left. We just need to protect ourselves and realize when they lose it that they are serious, and likely intend to do real harm.
