We just sent donations to Sen. Grothman and Sen. Darling and GOVERNOR Scott Walker and the Wisconsin State GOP.
Thank you for making phone calls. Remind folks that they can vote right now if there is any doubt that they will be available on April 5. Just go to your City, or Village, Hall. My husband and I voted last Thursday. It just takes a minute.
Is there a website to recall the fleebaggers?
Sift through, you might find some info. I'm sure that individual districts might have their own recall info but I don't know that there's one website with all recall info.
According to Wisconsin statute 11.26 - Limitation on contributions. Found here: state statute
(13m) Contributions utilized for the following purposes are not subject to limitation by this section:
11.26(13m)(b) (b) For the purpose of payment of legal fees and other expenses incurred in connection with the circulation, offer to file or filing, or with the response to the circulation, offer to file or filing, of a petition to recall an officer prior to the time a recall primary or election is ordered, or after that time if incurred in contesting or defending the order.
This means that while corporate contributions are still not allowed there is no maximum amount that an individual can give to help a sitting legislator defend against a recall effort. The office holder is under obligation to spend the amount over the $1,000 individual limit for that purpose. If they do not spend the full donation any remaining funds over the normal limit are to be returned to the original donor.
This means that an individual can donate as much as they wish for the purpose of defending a seat during recall and the responsibility for spending or returning the money properly falls to the office holder.
So, for the good of the citizens of our great state I would humbly ask you and anyone you know to donate as much as personal resources will allow. Millions of dollars are already flowing into the liberal coffers from out of state unions and other left-wing groups. The only way we can counter their media and message is by raising millions ourselves. If I were to personally choose one of the three to donate to I would focus my resources on Dans race but what's important is that you make.
The La Crosse County GOP has opened its campaign HQ to support Sen. Kapanke during the recall effort. Dan, Harsdorf and Hopper are the most vulnerable.
Onto the State Supreme Court race. Here is an article about Kloppenburg, Justice Prosser's opponent. Although we cannot give money to Justice Prosser, please urge your Wisconsin neighbors to vote for him on Tuesday, April 5. And if you're able, contact your local Republican party and volunteer for a phone bank this weekend.
I probably will call everyone again on Monday night, just to be sure nobody forgets or is “too busy” to vote on Tuesday.
This is an astronomically huge election. I don’t think most WI residents know what is at stake.
“This is an astronomically huge election. I dont think most WI residents know what is at stake.”
Take heart. I have seen exactly ONE sign for his opponent in The People’s Republik of Madistan. No one SEEMS to be paying attention, even in the bluest county in the state...
Conservatives WILL vote. Without being asked. Without any fanfare. We have ‘The Walker Wind’ in our sails, and nothing is SWEETER than having LibTards wake up the day AFTER an election to smell the scent of DEMOCRACY in the morning, LOL!
I truly believe that conservatives ARE paying attention; The Silent Majority just never makes a fuss. :)
You may print this flyer to distribute to neighbors. Or post on your FB site to show the difference in experience.
My hubby and I were astonished and pleased to see on a SILO near us, an Eileen Bruskowitz banner. Just down a few farms was a big yard sign for her too. It was very reassuring to know we DO have some conservatives here in eastern Dane Co.
The libs will be fun to watch (if) when Prosser and Eileen both win.
When I called around, before the primary, I told about 13 people about it who were not aware of it. 4 of them are now talking to me about the upcoming election, so I didn’t do the reminder for them last week. I might remind the others Monday night. I don’t want to be obnoxious (who, me?) about it though. I should trust that they will vote as they said last week. I for one, cannot wait to go vote.
“The libs will be fun to watch (if) when Prosser and Eileen both win.”
It’s going to happen. :)
Lots of support for Eileen around here, too! My little Cow Town is already sick of the socialist Mayor (Jay Allen) they voted in just a few years back. He’s got two others running against him, so I’m glad to see that, too!
Now, if we can rid ourselves of the gun-banning sheriff in our town, we’ll be all set, LOL!
Yes, the Dems and Unions are full steam overdrive all over the state. Heart-wrenching ads all over creation, playing the little David against the GOP Goliath scenario. Utterly shameless.
Governor Walker was on Hannity’s radio program last Wednesday, asking for support for Frontlinewisconsin. So that is where I am donating. FTR, that is the only affiliation I have with the outfit. This is the link I used.

Thanks for the info!
Hey, yesterday I posted on this thread about whether my calling my pals on Monday about Tuesday was too obnoxious(I called them already recently).
I am so excited about the election and so overworked in the greenhouse, that until this morning when my hubby corrected me,,,,I was ready to vote this Tuesday! Wrongo!
Geez, I need a day off. It’s been since Feb.14th that I’ve had 10 hour days. Gets to me after a while.
OK, I’ll hold off until the right Tuesday.
I will do the Dance of Joy when Prosser and Eileen both win. We also have a conservative on the ballot for school board. I am surprised she even survived the primary. There is hope, even here in Dane Co.
ping
Have you found a way to contribute towards Judge Prosser’s election? i.e. a 527?
Please let me know,
