Anyway, the Japanese people are a lot like me, they are extremely polite, hard-working and they like to eat a lot of fish. I would consider moving there but I can't make heads or tails out of their language.

Pink Lady ? I used to think they were SO hot ! I remember they had a TV show in the States for a short time . Maybe , subconsciously speaking , they were one of the reasons I decided to come to Japan ! LOL ...

I lived in Japan 1988-2002, the first place was near an intersection between a state (Ken) and national (Koku) highway. A section was in need of repair. One night about 11 p.m., they rerouted traffic, brought in the floodlights and worked on it until 5 a.m. The process was repeated for four straight nights and when we awoke the morning of the 5th day, a nice new section of highway was in place and everything was gone.

It wasn't fun living so close to it, but compared to the average PennDOT job where they rip up miles of highway and reroute traffic for months and sometimes longer before work is even started, it was a pleasant surprise.
