CBS Finally Mentions Lack of Congressional Approval for Libya Attack...In Six Seconds
Newsbusters ^ | 3/24/11 | Kyle Drennen

Posted on 03/24/2011 10:11:06 AM PDT by Nachum

At the top of Thursday's CBS Early Show, co-host Chris Wragge acknowledged for the first time on the network that members of Congress were criticizing the Obama administration for failing to seek their approval on military action in Libya: "In Washington, the Speaker of the House takes on President Obama as to why he didn't talk to Congress before launching the attacks."

While that tease seemed to suggest further discussion of the criticism during the show's Libya coverage, not a single word was mentioned throughout the rest of the broadcast. If a viewer missed those six seconds they would have heard nothing of the serious questions being raised in Washington about the administration's Libya policy.

In addition, John Boehner was far from the sole critic, a number of Democrats and Republicans in Congress have voiced their concerns over not being consulted with ahead of time.

As NewBusters' Scott Whitlock earlier reported, before Thursday, only ABC had mentioned the lack of congressional approval in its reporting on Libya.

the media have ignored this, who the rebels are, why did the family ,go on vacation with him why did the mother in law take a friend on our dime but also and mroe importantly

Soros buys shares in Petrobas
Obama stops drilling here
Obama goes to Brazil and states we want your oil
Obama gives 2 billions to Brazil or was it Petrobas?
Soros now makes billions
Now guess where that money goes next year.

There are a whole host of facts being ignored and it is disgusting to see even the GOP not demanding he get back here when he was in Rio or even mention this Soros deal with tax payers money

This is BAD news! We do not want the MSM to start actually reporting the news because that could slow the trend of their viewers leaving in droves.

The mainstream news media is the enabler of all democrat corruption.

It really is that simple.

Meanwhile Tom Delay is doing jail time for nothing more than passing along campaign contributions to other republican candidates.

Sort of like how they covered the safari-style trophy photos from Afghanistan. How many months did they run the panties-on-the-head photos from Iraq? Oh wait...that was damaging to a Republican administration. Never mind.

Pretty good dot connecting. Let me add that the timing for all of the Mid-East protests and violence is suspicious, as it tends to cause the price of oil to skyrocket. Would be interesting to see if there is any connection between Soros and the sudden multiple-country protests in most of the oil-rich mideast.

I wrote a letter to the editor of my local newspaper to that effect day before yesterday. I doubt they print it; I think they put me on their “do not print” list back during the Clinton’s reign of nasty.

if we had a free and fair press then they would see the dots connecting but of course when it comes to their loved one and Soros then nothing will be done. It is so open about Petrobas, Soros and obama that I'm stunned even Beck has not mentioned this as he seems the only one who knows of Soros anyway. There is no way that Soros buys those shares in Petrobas, obama stops the drilling here , then gives two billion to Brazil and then states we want your oil. Soros has made billions out of this deal and it was done by his puppet and our money. Now all we heard was Haliburton and Cheney but funny how e hear nothing about oil deals now
