If they haven’t infected SC with liberalism, you are fortunate.

I noticed the same thing in GA...most of the transplants from the upper Midwest were Republicans.

Here in Florida, I haven’t noticed much black back-exodus but the Yankees keep coming from the Northeast to So. FL especially and they are some of the worst died-in-the-wool ‘rats there are. Think Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Peter Deutsch.

Allen West broke through and beat a ‘rat in November but that was a rarity down that way.

Fortunately, the pubbies control both houses of the legislature and the governor’s mansion for the time being probably because the ‘rats are so concentrated in that one corner of the state with just a few enclaves elsewhere.

The whole ring of counties around Fulton (Gwinnett, Cobb, DeKalb, Clayton) may be technically "suburban" but all but a few small parts of them are every bit as bad - actually WORSE - than the inner city from whence their new residents came.

Simply not true. DeKalb is as you say. Fulton county stretches North and South and has most of its population in the southern (Atlanta proper) part. North Fulton is solidly Republican (note I don't say conservative); however, their vote is always overwhelmed by the black entitlement mentality democrats who live and breed in the lower half.

Gwinnett is overrun by hispanic "immigrants" and liberal yankees who having sh!t where they ate up north, fled south to a better life only to take their big government statist attitudes with them and promptly begin to screw things up here. Still Gwinnett mostly goes Republican.

Cobb is contaminated by the aforementioned yankees, but still is mostly Republican. Clayton is changing not so many immigrants, but the Atlanta side of it does have a lot of blacks who've moved into middle class developments, but retain their hard core racist ideas.

West probably won due to the black vote in Riviera beach and West Palm.

I’d like to see West run for the Senate against Bill Nelson and leave that marginal district but he told seekthetruth and her husband that he isn’t going to do anything but run for the House again.

She has been pretty invisible lately, thankfully. And I pay some attention, as I got re-districted out of Newt’s old GA 6th into Jihad Cyndy’s GA 4th for a while. In fact, I helped lead a FReep of one of her events some years ago. I’m back in the 6th now, which is A Good Thing.

Her daddy passed a couple years ago. They even mentioned the knife incident in the AJC obit, IIRC.

I’m formerly from Dunwoody. Cynthia’s dad’s dead. She’s been pretty quiet since the smuggling incident in the Mid-East a couple years ago.

I've landed on Guam several times, and even though I'm a really big guy it didn't even tremble.

Yes, but did you land at the end or in the middle.

After all these years and all of those airports, I don't recall. My memory seems to be teasing me that it points out over the ocean like Hong Kong and Tokyo does, but don't hold my feet to the fire on this one.

Didn’t McKinney run for President on the Green Party ticket in 2008?

Yeah, but it’s not about blacks, its about “libs” moving out ... and unfortunately moving “in” to my (Sun City Hilton Head) neighborhood. They don’t like where they came from so they come here, but guess who heads up the local Democrat Club? They leave like rats leaving the ship, come here and vote the same S.T.U.P.I.D. way! Couldn’t stand what they did to themselves “there” ... so let’s do it again “here.”

He wasn’t talking about the OJ jury, he was talking about the average Black person

I admit that Cobb & Gwinnett are not totally underwater yet, but in recent elections they have voted (though still Republican) by a faw narrower margin than they have since the early 1980's. The trend is not good.

Clayton county OTOH is totally third-world already: 83% for Bonzo in 2008 and this was a county that had once given Reagan nearly 75% (1984).

Henry County, Douglas County, Newton County: going downhill now, and will likely pick up speed; they will be the new DeKalbs & Claytons within a decade, probably less.

But areas on the outer northern ring of the Atlanta metro area look for now like excellent places for families and businesses to locate.

Yes, but she was nabbed on an aid boat headed toward Gaza after that IIRC. I haven’t heard anything about her since she was shipped back here. Personally I was hoping they would keep her.
