Why would Gaddafi send money to al Qaeda supporters who would probably funnel that money back to the Islamist rebels who tried to assassinate him in 1996?

Why would the Arab League support the same al-Qaeda rebels who are trying to overthrow them in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, etc.?
When our pilot was shot down, how come the rebels served him tea instead of chopping off his head?
Maybe because the rebels are not al-qaeda?

Gaddafi released hundereds of LIFG/Al Qaeda over the past two years from his prisons. Those are the same Al Qaeda that we captured on the Afganistan and Iraq battlefields and gave to Gaddafi.
Gaddafi also funds Muslim Brotherhood causes around the world.
People around here need to wise up.
