FREEDOM JAMBOREE, THE NATIONAL TEA PARTY STRAW POLL CONVENTION & LEAVENWORTH 10 FREEDOM RIDE

Freedom Jamboree is a coalition of grassroots, independent Tea Party and conservative community organizers from around the country, completely independent of any national Tea Party umbrella organization.

Freedom Jamboree sent invitations to all national Tea Party potential candidates for 2012 in mid-January, and will invite any new candidates that announce their candidacy in the next few months. Invitations were sent only to those who have supported the Tea Party movement and its Constitutional principles by both word and deed. Many of them already accepted and many more are about to officially accept and the speakers/entertainers list will continue to grow as we get closer to the event.

Event is being held at The Woodlands Racetrack in Kansas City, KS.

This year, the Leavenworth 10 Freedom Ride, in support and work toward the release of the The Leavenworth 10, a group of Airborne and Marines incarcerated at Fort Leavenworth for killing AlQaeda terrorists, is being held at the same time with the Jamboree, as a kick start for the Jamboree.

Please visit FREEDOM JAMBOREE WEBSITE for more information, as details and updates are going up on a daily basis.

Press Release March 28, 2011

Freedom Jamboree is the national Tea Party event of 2011 that takes us to "Round Two" in our struggle to restore this Nation's Constitutional principals, which continue to be ignored by our elected officials in D.C. In "Round One," we took the House and many state legislatures as a result of our struggle.

This Tea Party event will continue to fan that fire, while keeping the momentum rolling forward to the caucuses and convention in 2012, and helping ready our movement for the election at the federal, state, and local levels.

Freedom Jamboree is also a national "grassroots" Tea Party and 9.12 group "nominating convention" for the offices of President and Vice President of the United States, resulting in a fifty state Tea Party "straw poll." The convention starts at noon on Sept. 30, and ends at 8pm on Oct. 1, followed by the musical concert "FREE JAM" from 8pm until midnight. A Sunday morning worship service will take place on Sunday, Oct. 2. Early arrival begins on Sept. 28.

To be held in America's heartland...Kansas City on September 28th through Oct. 2nd at the "Woodlands Racetrack." The event will provide each Tea Party and 9.12 group with its own caucus area, to rally and discuss national and state candidates, legislation, or issues important to their independent groups, while enjoying entertainment and speakers in a county-fair tailgate party atmosphere.

Check out www.freedomjamboree.com to see who we are and what we are about.

Please consider leading your Tea Party, or 9.12 group, to participate with other groups from all fifty states, by registering online to support and attend Freedom Jamboree: September 28 – October 2, 2011 in Kansas City, KS.

In Liberty! Fighting for our Constitution, our families, and our homeland.

Isn’t Kansas City another RAT controlled hellhole, where open conservatives are in physical danger from the denizens thereof?

You are confusing the movement with politicians.

The “core” cities of KC ks an KC mo are rat infested, because they are your typical urban core constituency.
The metro, though, is huge, with lots of suburbs of “non-urban” demographics.

You are certainly welcome, friend! Hope you will be joining many of us Florida patriots in Kansas City come September! Also hope many Michigan Freepers will be there too!

Our mutual friend and her sweetheart from Wisconsin are coming, and we will be booked at the same hotel. My hubby and I can’t wait to see them!

Kansas City, Missouri is an absolute rat infested area. This is Kansas City, Kansas, located in Wyandotte County. Wyandottte and Johnson Counties are across-the-state-line suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri. Wyandotte County is mostly rat infested, but it has large oases of political conservatism. The Woodlands opened years ago as a dog racing venue, then added horse racing, but when the Missouri side passed casino gambling, it suffered. I have never been there (I can lose money so many ways, why add the dog track????) but I think the facility itself has been well maintained.

The Woodlands is about 5 miles north of the Kansas Speedway (NASCAR). There are only two racing weekends scheduled this year, one in June and the weekend of October 9. But a large retail operation has been built around it. There is a Great Wolf Lodge, a Cabelas, Nebraska Furniture Mart - lots of shops. I think the area is called Legends at Village West.

As for BBQ, there is an Arthur Bryants at the Kansas Speedway (Legends) area. Bryants is a local BBQ that is tomato based, but very tart, tangy and vinegary. The more traditional BBQ joints include Gate's, Fiorella's Jack Stack, Oklahoma Joe's and BB's Lawnside BBQ (which has a blues band every night). Oh, and I think there is a Crazy Dave's BBQ in the Legends area. I don't know if it is KC based, but my younger son insists that I always have a bottle of Crazy Dave's BBQ sauce in the frig!

Isn't KC in Missouri? Oh, there's one in Kansas as well. Maps are your friend, JimRed.

Kansas is just above Oklahoma which is the OK State so where just above OK. We don't have to spend money on big sports stadiums like Missouri which is great. Worst thing that's ever came out of Kansas is Kathleen Sebelius, and she's gone.

My favorite BBQ is Quicks. Watch when you go to Gates the will rip you off. I went to Gates ordered 2 pounds of beef the gave me one and half pounds, didn’t go back for a year. I ordered two ponds of beef got a pound and half. This is why Mr. Gates lives in a mansion in the richest part of KC. What a crock.

Thanks for the information for all of us!

I knew the event was in Kansas City, Kansas, and guess I didn’t make that clear. Thinking others thought it was Kansas City, MO.

Thanks again for the valuable info you provided!
