Paterson Teacher Suspended After Allegedly Calling Students ‘Future Criminals’ On Facebook

April 1, 2011 3:39 PM

PATERSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — A New Jersey first-grade teacher who allegedly posted derogatory comments about her students on her Facebook page has been suspended.

Several parents who saw the posts apparently came to Paterson School 21 and asked that their children be removed from her class.

The teacher’s name has not been released.

The Paterson school district is said to have ordered the removal of the post earlier this week. In it, the teacher reportedly called her 6 and 7-year-old students “future criminals” and said that she felt like a “warden” handling them.

In Paterson? There’s no doubt whatsoever that they are future criminals.

Right or wrong about the kids behavior, she shouldn’t have made the statement in a public forum, that shows a strong lack of judgment on her part.

Facebook appears to be getting a lot of people in trouble.

It seems easy to post something innocuous that comes back later to kick your butt.

Best thing is probably to stay off it. I know I do.

“The school district issued a statement saying that the teacher is on administrative leave with pay”

I wish I could be on administrative leave with pay for saying stupid things on the Internet. /s

Oh, a teacher in a union - that’s the key.

Look for more teachers to employ this strategy to get out of gangsta schools.

Does the teacher get his/her job back with pay if it turns out to be true?

So this teacher gets suspended and yet the nut ball grade school teacher in Wisconsin that sent out over a dozen death threat emails to Pubbie senators, while eventually getting charged, is not arrested and apparently has not been suspended by her school district.

These leftists have no credibility left and while their bias, arrogance, and greed get a pass to a certain extent due to the massive pro-Dem media, trust me when I say the silent majority is growing every day. Silent because it is a waste of time (if not dangerous) to argue with emotionally-challenged & intellectually bankrupt liberals.

Knowing Paterson, the teacher was probably right. Not because of any genetic drive to be so, but because of the “family” “lie” they come out of the environment they are raised in and the “values” they are exposed to.

But remarkably, even in such an environment, most people and most children do not become criminals.

It would be interesting to track these children, say to their 21st b/day and see just how right she is.

If she’s right it raises a whole other issue regarding so-called rehabilitation of criminals. If by the time they are in first grade the die is already cast, what is the likelihood that 2 decades later after long years of criminal behavior and life in various institutions that they’re likely to be “rehabilitated”?
