If implemented, the measure, which would revise social science textbooks, could have effects beyond California. The state is a major purchaser of educational texts, and publishers often produce books tailored to California that other states use as well. The proposal would require that social science texts and other instruction include "a study of the role and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans
to the economic, political and social development of California and the United States of America, with particular emphasis on portraying the role of these groups in contemporary society."
Sen. Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) introduced the bill, SB 48....
Democrat, San FranSICKo, imagine that.

The problem with pimping phonyass crap like this is that most of these so called “contributions” are nothing but bull**** to begin with.

Luckily California doesn’t have any other concerns...otherwise they wouldn’t have time for this indulgence.

If this was to be completely candid and not just a one sided paean of praise, we might learn how much larger the AIDS problem in America is on account of them. IIRC, the USA is the only country on earth where homosexuals are the majority carriers of AIDS/HIV. Elsewhere it’s heterosexual relations, either normal or rape.

What, if any, do their “contributions” have to do with the fact that behind closed doors they compress fecal matter ?

Everyone should agree that AIDS is the most important contribution. Roughly ten years after homosexuality is delisted as a mental illness AIDS spreads all over the world, patient zero being a homosexual flight attendant.

Here's a question.
If homosexuality was still regarded as an illness and not mainstream ie. behavior still in the closet, would the world be healthier? Would AIDS be the problem it is and all the money spent on it, wouldn't some of it be going to cancer and heart disease research?

That does it. I’m going to lobby my Representative to press for legislation to teach children about the contributions of cat people, dog people, people who prefer light beer, and people who believe in the Easter Bunny but not in the Tooth Fairy.
