Sen. John McCain tells reporters that President Obama has fallen short of the vision he expressed in the last presidential campaign. 'Maybe this time the American electorate is interested in someone who has a proven record rather than rhetoric,' he says.

BY MICHAEL A. MEMOLI

WASHINGTON - As President Obama ramps up his reelection campaign, the man he defeated in 2008 says the Republican Party has a simple case to make in the effort to unseat him.

"He promised change and we really didn't see change," Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told reporters Wednesday. "When you look at his campaign promises … the reality has not lived up to his vision as he articulated last time for America."

"He promised change and we really didn't see change," Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told reporters Wednesday.

It sounds like he's saying that Obama hasn't changed the dreck that the GOP delivered before him.

John McQueeg should change all right. He should change parties! Obama has brought nothing but trouble to our country, and he doesn’t call that change? What a twit!

Juan, you're a doddering old RINO butthole. Do us all a favor, and find a nice, sunny porch to sit on. For the duration.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

“Sen. John McCain tells reporters that President Obama has fallen short of the vision he expressed in the last presidential campaign”

... and that is a GOOD THING you senile Senator!

We got too MUCH change - too much deficits, new taxes, big spending, Govt takeovers, healthcare plans, Govt regulations, oil drilling shutdowns, coddlign of enemies, etc.

Jeez louise, what a stupid talking point. It lets Obama say “Gimme 4 more years, I didnt get it all done.”

McLame was tortured by the NVA too often and too much. It is showing in brain-damage and associated addled thinking. Why doesn’t this guy fade into the distance (and take his great buddy, nobama with him)?????

Would be nice if McLame would just go away!

Just having a "malaise" moment here.

How about "Are you better off than you were four years ago?"

or maybe "It's morning again in America."

If zero isn't the second coming (or afterbirth) of the failed Carter administration, nothin is.

I wait in eager anticipation of replies :o)

Go away McCain and please no more retreads.. Where has Romney been besides silent over the last two years?

Sorry Mitt Romney... Too late..

If the Republicans run McLame, Romney, Newt or even the Huckabee..., then Obama will win.

Palin, Backmann, West, Cain, Trump are all good candidates.

Scratch Trump. He’s ballsy and mouthy (and that’s the current draw), but he’s no conservative.

I wonder if Juan will be propped up and kept on life support long enough to win another one for the grifter?

Seems like everyone in ‘08 hung in there just long enough to split the vote up and leave us stuck with him.

What a racket.

I always will think that Juan got the nomination because it was his turn. He wanted to be the candidate instead of Bush a long time ago. Bush was the chosen one and Juan backed off and sucked it up for the promise of next in line.

Guess who backed off last time?
