I have more faith in the Ryan budget- but there’s a slight problem: People are dreaming if they think Obama’s going to approve of it. We already know the drill: Lots of demagoguery, calls for taxes on the rich, and so on. The RINOs will “reach across the aisle” to compromise with him. We’ve seen this movie a hundred times before.

America will continue to circle the drain when the only choices are the Evil Party and the Gutless Party.

The GOP cut defense spending and agreed to fully fund the Left’s agenda.

This is a win? Nancy Pelosi could hardly have done worse than Boehner and Cantor. Its no compromise at all!

When are some of you EVER going to understand? Politicians at the national level (and many at the state level) ONLY take care of those who line their pockets. That includes BOTH parties. Once they have been up there for a while, the overwhelming tempation from lobbyists providing all kinds of favors/treats/etc. gets them all. None of them represent the people nor do they care after about one year.

How the heck should I know, I work for a living and posses only one vote. The question still remains, what are you expecting... its up to us to hold their feet to the fire...

“The question still remains, what are you expecting...”

What was I expecting? What they promised us. At a bare minimum, 100 B in cuts, and defunding of Obamcare and the EPA implementation of Cap and Trade.

The House controls the spending- don’t fall for Boehner’s BS...

In negotiating, you never start where you hope to end up... unfortunately the 100b figure was not where they knew they would end up... if you were expecting them to steam roll the White House, the Senate and the Rinos, then may I suggest that you expand your view of politics and realize, that will be impossible until we own all three branches of gub’men. What they did get was a “set up” for the 2012 budget battle and elections. Again, its up to us to keep their feet to the fire.

Again, the House could’ve defunded Obamacare, Cap and Trade, and other things if it wanted to. In the alternative, it could’ve demanded dramatic cuts (far beyond 100 B in fact) as a bargaining chip for *nor* defunding those things. The Dems are bullies, and they play for keeps- and you will never have anything close to a fair fight by playing small ball. The Dems would have no qualms about playing mean and dirty if the shoe was on the other foot.

The problem with your strategy is, what if Obama gets re-elected? We will still have Obamacare, C+T, NPR, etc., etc. I’d rather begin this fight now when we have assurance that something *substantive* can really be done, and not talk of “2012 battles” (to be fought by... Jon Huntsman, or Romney, or whoever Karl Rove and the boys try to foist on us).

Didn’t the house vote to repeal Obamanocare? This is a ground war of attrition that’ll take at least 20-25 election cycles to really begin reversing.

Keep having babies, train the children in the way they should go, respect and honor our military and keep voting them out every election or primary.

“Didn’t the house vote to repeal Obamanocare?”

Yes, they voted to repeal Obamacare (basically to make it look like they were actually doing something); however they declined to defund it.

They did the same thing with NPR, you may recall.

You have to watch these people closely- I hate to say it, but they are being very slimy.

Umm... sorry, its not my strategy... my point was and is; we are where we are. Boehner is the speaker and a good portion of the house is still made up of Rinos (who mostly still hold the reigns power)... we’ve made some progress with the house... we now have to kick ass, and take the Senate and WH in 2012. I can be patient till 2012. If we cannot make the needed changes by then... we go Tea Party all the way, a third party... I’m on your side, believe me.
