The ad revealed Barack Obama’s dealings with convicted felon and close friend Tony Rezko.
This great ad described Obama’s relationship with the Chicago crook. Unfortunately, the left-wing media didn’t do its job and protected Obama from any honest attacks during the 2008 campaign.
Today Donald Trump went after Obama’s close ties to convicted criminal Tony Rezko. IB Times reported:
President Obama “never did a deal in his life except with Tony Rezko,” said Donald Trump on Fox News.
“People should look into that one,” he added.
Trump once again went on the offensive against Obama. His previous point of attack was doubts over Obama’s birthplace. Now, it’s the latter’s long history with Tony Rezko, who Hillary Clinton in 2008 called a “slum landlord.”
Rezko is am Illinoisan political fundraiser who was convicted for fraud and bribery in 2008. He was accused of using his political position to extort money from businesses seeking contracts from the Illinois Teachers System Board and the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board.
Back in the 1990s (before Rezko’s offenses took place), two companies owned by Rezko gave the first ever contributions to Obama’s Illinois Senate campaign. In the 2000s, he served on Obama’s U.S. Senate campaign finance committee.
In 2005, Rezko’s wife bought a lot adjacent to a house Obama purchased for $625,000 and subsequently sold a part of it to Obama. The deal generated much controversy back in Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

I'm not saying he's "malleable". I'm saying that it isn't clear which master Trump is serving: his own ambition...or somebody else's.
Trump was a long-term supporter of the Clintons. He supported Hillary for the Democrat nomination in 2008.
He is only lately come to say the right words about conservative issues. It was not so long ago that he was pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro-national healthcare.
Now, he presents himself as an avid conservative...and wins conservative hearts by publicly attacking Obama on the subject of his eligibility. Note, that this is an act that might equally serve two factions -- Republicans...and Hillary.
And, then, Trump announces that, if he doesn't win the Republican nomination, he will run as an Independent.
Wouldn't that pretty much insure the election of the Democrat nominee? Whoever she is? Indeed, where have we seen this scenario before...???
I am, for one, very suspicious of Trump's motives.

I assume Trump has come to the same conclusion I have, i.e. that the country would have to be very lucky to survive two more years of this present administration.
The GOP is becoming more foolish by the day- that blink before the budget debacle is just another log on the fire burning its way to rendering the GOP to the same place the Whigs currently occupy.

When I was receiving my substandard Southeastern Conference education, if I made an assertion about something I believed, I had to give two pieces of evidence to support the argument or the paper would come back with a big, red “F” on it.
I learned that lesson the hard way. And I still make a point of writing “IMHO” if I don’t have any evidence, just “feelings.” And I really try to leave “feelings” politics to the liberals. And Ivy League graduates.
That’s the last thing Juan wants because he is not an NBC himself. He was born at the public hospital in Colon about a mile from the PCZ. He doesn’t want any blowback proving the fraud he is. That’s why neither candidate pushed the issue because they’re both not NBCs.

I can’t shake the nagging impression he’s running interference for She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
Were you around in the late 90s? We had a president named Bill Clinton who committed any number of crimes in office and before. Do you know how many crimes he was convicted of? None. Do you know whether he was removed from office? No. Did his party suffer in a major way for it? NO. Do I like that? No. But, at the end of the day, that was the reality. Obama could be guilty of a million crimes. Unless he is prosecuted for it, or the public turns on him, it sadly makes very little difference. Right now, the public is unhappy about his job performance, but they don’t care about his scandals. Is your objective to be “right” and Obama advance his agenda, or turn back his agenda?
It’s a rotten shame that America has come to the point where a citizen has to have billions before he or she can tell the truth and not be afraid!
Donald Trump is the ONLY person who has even come close to being truthful about Obama. We’re ALL supposed to have that right. But the Liberal nuts have taken political correctness to the point where an ordinary citizen is dragged through the mud if they even try to raise questions about what is obviously a shady deal.
And all the politicians, both Republican and Democrat, have too much dirty linen of their own in the closet to risk speaking out.
Donald Trump gives new meaning to the phrase “money talks.” He is in the unique position of being able to speak his mind and not be ruined for it. However, I suspect it won’t be long until the literal “hired guns” are brought out to threaten him into submission. Maybe he’ll have a heart attack, who knows, or be found in a dumpster somewhere, or burn up in his garage.

I don’t know what will happen, but nature abhors a vacuum, and Trump has figured out how to fill it while Romney, Pawlenty, Gingrich, Huckabee et al go about business as usual.
