“Doesn’t this make ya HUNGRY!”

It sure does! My stomach is rumbling now.

The best burger places are the mom and pop ones.

But if on the road in a hurry or somewhere where I don't know where the good places are, I sure do like the Jack in the Box Ultimate Cheeseburger, curly fries and a sweet tea. lol

You are completely forgetting those of us with 4 kids who have track meets, karate lessons, ballet, music lessons, Little League practice 3x week + games 2x week, Boy Scouts, cub scouts, weekend trips away. . .

Moms are constantly in their cars.

And for the past 13 years my commute was 2 hours one way (live 45 miles East of San Francisco); last year I moved just 14 miles northwest and my commute is now under an hour. Freeway traffic makes a big difference. . .(I take a different freeway now, plus BART).

Rick, have you ever heard the expression, "the customer is always right?"

A terrific, vastly underrated movie.

Falling Down.

DQ burgers are outstanding...I will stop there if I have the choice before any other fast food. Throw in a medium blizzard and life is good. YES...I do work out so moderation is the key folks. excercise and enjoy what you want...

I’m going to stick with a Double Double, animal style today.

One of the few things I miss since leaving So Cal.

They have a Heart Attack Grill in Dallas now: http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/Heart-attack-restaurant-to-North-Texas-118792034.html

Maybe the food still taste's good there?

We have in the name of public safety, environmentalism, the children, multiculturalism and every other special and concerned group found ways to even make laws that dictate what oil is used to cook fries in, we force places to over cook the meat (well done) and kids get apple slices they don't care for....... Of course, for your safety, you can't smoke on private property in many places anymore even if the store owner and clients want too......... They now dictate or at least recommend even how you cook a frigging potato! Think about that! A potato! Since after all if you cook it in oil that's hot carcinogens are created. We now are debating extra taxes on soda and are even considering removing chocolate milk in schools, telling parents that the food they give their children is inappropriate and won't let kids eat the brown bag they brought from home.............. Welcome to the United Socialist America.

At some point the surgeon general of the USA will figure out that given a long enough span of time, life leads to death in 100% of the subjects.

That should be their slogan- "Where food still tatses good."

Your picture brings to mind an old Drew Carey quote:
“Drive-thru liquor stores-almost a good idea!”

First let me say - EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT!

I’m with you on that. I’ve personally tried to make healthier choices as I age, but I do indulge, and absolutely do not want Government telling anybody what they can or can’t eat.

I just discovered the new Burger King 'Meat Monster':

Two beef patties, bacon, cheese, grilled chicken, and toppings!

Oh, the things he says are the “worst” look very tasty.

I usually look at what he condemns as a suggestion of what to order. When he declared Outback Steakhouse's bacon cheese fries as being practically deadly, my girlfriend and I began ordering them every time we went there. They were delicious!

For a while, Hardees had a "Philly Cheese Steak Burger." Only in America would a condiment for a burger be a cheese steak sandwich... With au jus! It was delicious!

That’s just what happened to Fine Homebuilding! They’ve gone so “green’ that even the old timers are complaining...
and let’s not forget National Geographic - talk about suckin’ down the koolaid!

I used to be a prolific magazine reader in college, but the material has gone so far left as to be unreadable. The quality of the writing is equally bad, as many of these kids are being farmed out of colleges from niche degree sectors and being thrown into something about which they can’t possibly communicate effectively.

On top of that, the coverage of relevant topics in magazines like “Men’s Health” is slanting more toward advocacy over actual substance. While they have a great idea, the actual magazine isn’t delivering for me anymore.

I so agree...
I, too, enjoy mags - a very expensive habit, yes? - but even home improvement/style mags have gone off the deep end...
I like Southern Living but have found even they are getting PC...
can’t stand it.

A tuna sandwich made the list? How odd.

Not at all. Mayo. I worked in a sub shop in high school and college. The amount of mayo used in the tuna is stupefying. Mayo is a lot cheaper than yellowfin tuna.
