This guy may have an alter ego still on FR. This is 2nd time this week that I read that Christianity and Judaism were syncreted from Zoroastrianism:

...the mythologies the priests had learned from Zoroastrianism during their captivity in Persia (heaven, hell, battle between good and evil gods, resurrection, apocalyptic end of the world, etc.; all found in Judaism and a generation or two later also in Christianity).

I'm gettin' pretty tired of seein' this kinda crap on a pro-Christian site like FR. Glad for the zot.

Seemed a dry post, but not a pro-(modern)-liberal one. More of a discussion of how the term “liberal” has different meanings.

I am a liberal - a classic liberal aka modern pro-freedom anti-big-government Christian consevative. Got the impression he was, too. Well stated? No. But that’s what I took away from it.

What did I miss? Clearly something because this was a mass Zot!
