More companies have joined Papa Johns, Huggies and Vanguard in dropping ads from the liberal, pro-abortion blog Wonkette after it ran a crass post mocking Sarah Palin and her son trig, who has Down Syndrome.

I actually wrote a nasty email to Papa Johns over this and got a response. They were VERY quick to respond, and Vanguard heard from me too. Glad they went through with this.

curious if there will be any noticeable net increase in sales to those advertisers who pulled ads. That would be a pretty powerful example of the #’s that decent Amercians (coincidentally probably most likely conservative) bring to the table. I know we are doing Pappa Johns tonight and mentioning Wonkette ad pull.

The left has trashed Glenn Beck & co-opted advertisers to leave his show.
I am glad to see them get a taste of their own poison.

Wonkette has no boundaries. Satire is funny, mean spirited attacks on innocent children is despicable and intolerable, not to mention juvenile. I’m gratified to see that some companies have some standards.

It sounds like these ads were “pushed” in the same way Facebook ads work, where the advertisers bought “impressions” but had no direct control over which sites the ads appeared on.

Now they know and hopefully will make better choices. Guilt by association is still guilt.

Make no mistake.
Leftist women HATE Trig.

His existance is a reminder to them that they would have killed him if the choice were up to them, and they viscerally know this is evil, but know also that they would have done it anyway.

There was a time that writing something like this would never happen. In a civil society someone like the author would have been shunned and had the snot knocked out of him.

or “her”...as I understand it, the founder of “Wonkette” is one Ana Marie Cox. I’m still chauvinistic enough to think that women are supposed to be above this cesspool-level kind of filth. Guess not, on the Left at least.

So without sinking totally to her level, perhaps this time she’s caught her mammary gland in the wringer, and will be forced to deal with the consequences of having set her standards so low.

Bring back dueling and this kind of crap will end real quick. I will offer my services to Todd Palin as his second. I will arrange the dueling site and prepare the weapons. I would suggest edged weapons since this type of slur should be settled with a little wet work.

I believe in free speech 100%! However, with all of our freedoms come responsibility, and part of the responsibility is facing the consequences of your actions. Freedom does not mean a free for all and the excuses that follow.

I would LOVE to take this slob and have him READ ALOUD what he wrote to either Todd or Track and FACE THE CONSEQUENCES!!!

These are the same people who’s heads explode over the fact that Kobe Bryant utter the word “fag” during a basketball game. The same that wanted Chick-Fil-A boycotted because they provided chicken sandwiches to a group that had a seminar on marriage. They are alien to polite society.

I seldom buy pizza, due to lactose intollerence, but made the stop at Papa John’s last night.
When I told the manager, “why” I stopped, she lit up and said, “My brother has Down’s Syndrom”.
