I think society and Major League Baseball has a duty to immediately go on the street and sign any and all black men, women or children to major league contracts until that number is in line to what society and social justice demands. They also need to make sure their quota of 57 year old Slovenian shortstops is also met.

BS. There are plenty of black Hispanic players in baseball. And since when do we have racial quotas? The NBA and NFL are overwhelmingly black and the NHL is overwhelmingly white. So what’s the problem?

As for the lack of blacks in baseball.....there sure are a lot of Hispanic and mixed race blacks in b-ball.

Personally, like ALL sports fans, I could care less what color the skin of the ball players on my favorite teams are just as long as they WIN.
For the record, pinstripes, Orange and pewter and black are the only colors are care for anyway.
