(CNSNews.com) - Even as President Barack Obama continued the U.S. military intervention in Libya’s civil war--with armed Predator drones beginning patrols over that North African country on Thursday--U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the division of the Department of Homeland Security responsible for enforcing immigration laws, could not account for 10 Libyan men it had caught and released inside the United States since July 2009.
After two weeks of inquiries about the Libyans from CNSNews.com, ICE finally responded on Thursday afternoon that it had already released to CNSNews.com all the information that was “available” on these Libyans and that the agency had “nothing more to add on the matter.”
ICE describes itself as “the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the second largest investigative agency in the federal government.” It says its “primary mission is to promote homeland security and public safety through the criminal and civil enforcement of federal laws governing border control, customs, trade, and immigration.”

If I was cynical I’d say that something “goes boom”, these guys get blamed and then we can escalate war in Libya.
DHS is a bunch of clowns run by the Mother of All Clowns. Time to “shut it down”. It’s a waste of money. They aren’t doing anything anyway.
Why were they released here?
Yeah DHS has more important things to do than to keep up with middle eastern men crossing the border ... like feeling up 6 year old girls at the airport.
But they know the color of underwear a grandmother and a 5 yr old is wearing.

I thought that the whole point of the catch and release policy was to fill the country with terrorists. So why focus on just these 10, when there are probably thousands already loose and unaccounted for. How else is the administration to bring it all down?
The DHS isn’t about homeland security. It’s about Democrat security.

Actually.... Clinton’s administration was in the tank in the polls. HillaryCare had been rejected.
Along came Oklahoma City. An Iraqi military guy was seen leaving the van before the explosion, likely working with McVeigh and Terry Nicholls. BOOM!
CLinton blamed Rush and mean talk radio and Republicans. The squishy middle of American politics went back to the Dems and Clinton won re-election.
If ANYTHING bad happens it’s Repubicans’ fault. They can post the correction story later... or never.
