Obama Administration punishes reporter for using multimedia
SFGate,com ^ | A.D. 28 April 2011 | Phil Bronstein

The hip, transparent and social media-loving Obama administration is showing its analog roots. And maybe even some hypocrisy highlights.

White House officials have banished one of the best political reporters in the country from the approved pool of journalists covering presidential visits to the Bay Area for using now-standard multimedia tools to gather the news.

The Chronicle's Carla Marinucci - who, like many contemporary reporters, has a phone with video capabilities on her at all times - pulled out a small video camera last week and shot some protesters interrupting an Obama fundraiser at the St. Regis Hotel.

No surprise here. The race baiting criminal-in-chief is all about document fraud, media control, and twisting truth; his 24-7 political stock and trade.

It says in the article that the female reporter was even warned about reporting the very fact that she was removed from the reporter pool;BECAUSE she dared to take photos of people protesting Obama. This is very telling. The mainstream media blindly cover for him on every issue but that he is acting like a dictator and controls. The media are the very essence of the progressive commiecrat movement yet they cannot accept the full ideal of freedom of press; being taken away?

From the article:

What's worse: more than a few journalists familiar with this story are aware of some implied threats from the White House of additional and wider punishment if Carla's spanking became public. Really? That's a heavy hand usually reserved for places other than the land of the free.

Frightening

And we are going to hear about this in the MSM? NEVER.

This POS has gone completely over the edge. His handlers are now concerned about his sacred image? Remember, the whitehouse now puts its own news out, has done it for what, over a year and these jerks who are spoon fed their daily dose of pre printed crap just dole it out to the public as first hand reporting.

I am so sick of this bunch, I cannot wait till they are all removed and hopefully banished to the Congo where their antics would be standard fare.

But part of the press' job is to do the opposite, to strip away the cloaks and veneers.

Who'd'a thunk it, based on their behavior for the last several years??

Somehow I don’t think the reporter would’ve been banned had she recorded an adoring fainter at one of these Obam-asms...

At some point they will begin confiscating cell phones, blackberries, iPads and notebooks or anything that looks like a camera at all presidential gatherings.........

Sadly, I think you’re right. Kind of like the municipalities that ban camcorders attempting to record policemen at work, fearing potentially illegal or embarrassing activities.

Yes, they could take him down when they’ve had enough. Wonder when that will happen.

Love the comments!

I read it fast, but did it say exactly what she taped that wasn't released? I didn't see that. Fishy.
