looks like Sarah Palin attended the Bloomberg after party. If those are her bare legs, then I'd say she needs to lay off the self tanner for awhile as that does not look natural.

I believe it's called: with a dark dress, especially in the evening, you don't wear nude stockings...that was rather a far stretch for a slam - for what purpose, one might wonder.

More an artifact of lighting I think. Light is focused on the face. I’ve noticed this in my humble attempts at photography. Sometimes the difference makes for very odd pictures.
