WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama is mixing mixed comedy with some early campaigning at the White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner, focusing mainly on Donald Trump.
With Trump in attendance, Obama said the billionaire businessman has shown the acumen of a future president, from firing Gary Busey on a recent episode of "Celebrity Apprentice" to focusing so much time on conspiracy theories about Obama's birthplace.

Why was Mister Obama..."focusing mainly on Donald Trump"? It's all part of the act.
The more Mister Obama and Trump PRETEND to dis each other, the greater number of conservatives are moved to Ross Perot II's certain-to-lose column.
I suspect in the strongest terms that it's in their script, and some here are buying the fiction.
Look at it this way. If Obama was seriously concerned about Trump, he wouldn't be giving him all this free press.

I see how people feel that way, but I don’t support his candidacy. I find him entertaining, but that is it.
I am just suprised they did this. Unfortunately for Trump he was there. It would have been a great opportunity to talk about how thousands are being murdered in Syria, we are failing in Libya, Texas is burning and Obama is yukking it up with his syncophants in the media.

I'm happy to do that, but what was Zero doing tonight? I think Obama is a checkers player -- not a very good one -- and not a chess player. But what is he doing with Trump???

Trump never went on a vacation in Pakistan with his man friend, and never didn’t adequately explained wtf the purpose of the trip was.
One usually mocks what one is afraid of. Bambi is scared to death of Trump. Not as a Republican opponent in an election but a gunslinger who has the media attention and speaks like nobody else I’ve seen in this morbid political scene ever.
I loved and still love President Bush. Just saw him today on the news with a wounded soldier with one leg that he was doing a bike race with. Brought a pull to my heart. He is real. But he had no fight in him against the new age media industrial complex.
