Why was Mister Obama..."focusing mainly on Donald Trump"? It's all part of the act.
The more Mister Obama and Trump PRETEND to dis each other, the greater number of conservatives are moved to Ross Perot II's certain-to-lose column.
I suspect in the strongest terms that it's in their script, and some here are buying the fiction.
Look at it this way. If Obama was seriously concerned about Trump, he wouldn't be giving him all this free press.

One usually mocks what one is afraid of. Bambi is scared to death of Trump. Not as a Republican opponent in an election but a gunslinger who has the media attention and speaks like nobody else I’ve seen in this morbid political scene ever.
I loved and still love President Bush. Just saw him today on the news with a wounded soldier with one leg that he was doing a bike race with. Brought a pull to my heart. He is real. But he had no fight in him against the new age media industrial complex.

Normally the correspondants dinner is funny but this year noone of it was. Obama was an AZZhole like always and if Seth Myers is the head writer of SNL that explains why it is so bad this season!
