Now that a Democratic President has employed JSOC to take out Osama bin Laden, will the fever swamps of the left continue to assert that it's just a Bush/Cheney plot to run around unjustifiably killing people?

They dragged their feet every step of the way, they undermined us, they gave aid to the enemy, they smeared the man who obtained the intelligence that led to this day, condemned the methods he used to obtain this intelligence, and demanded we close down the place where it was obtained. they condemned the wars and called our president a war criminal for waging them. They demanded an end to these wars and theY ran a political campaign based on all of the above. NOW THEY WANT ALL THE CREDIT? FU DEMOCRATS! FU!

Let’ not forget Anwar al-Awlaki who was put on the CIA hit list. He was an American citizen who was never given the benefit of a trial. This step was taken by 0bama who frequently criticized Bush’s treatment of non-citizen terrorists.

Where was the ACLU and the leftist when this action was taken?

I am not saying the action was not justified. I just get sickened by people whose sense of morality is bought and sold in the political arena.

The Left lost all credibility a long time ago. They complained about everything Bush did, and now that Obama’s done the same thing, you don’t hear a peep out of them. They know Obama’s one of them.

I was wondering if EO-12333 is still in force. You remember, the one banning "targeted assassinations", signed By Ronald Reagan in 1981? Strange, now the shoe is on the other foot and it appears that targeted killing is an acceptable part of our foreign policy. I'm not saying that I disapprove but it seems to me to be disingenuous for the current administration to claim success after eight straight years of carping about GW's "war crimes". I guess now they see the light, albeit in a somewhat tardy manner.

Not too many calls on the left and from the wh for civilian trials for terrorist today or closing Gitmo. So, antiwar left that hated Bush, is 0bama a war criminal now? Should Eric Holder arrest 0?

That is what has impressed me, too. BTW, I don't disagree with the idea of killing certain people such as bin Laden. He was not a head of state but was a free-agent terrorist who was on just about every law-enforcement "wanted" list in the world. But imagine if Bush had done this!

“NOW THEY WANT ALL THE CREDIT? FU DEMOCRATS! FU!”

Democrats behave amazingly like badly-toilet-trained,
obnoxious, pretentious, smug psychotics.

Why would one expect any sort of integrity from them?

JUst asking.

IMHO

Interesting item from Fox News Radio, they used the word *execution* to describe the hit on Bin Laden in one of their stories. White House has now backed away from comments that Bin Laden was engaged in gunfire and used his wife as a shield. Sounds like now his wife was hit in the calf by crossfire and Bin Laden was unarmed when he was double tapped in the noggin.

IMO, Obama handled in exactly the right way. Bin Laden is never going to release any more propaganda, but, it is beginning to look like the lefties in the White House are squirming on their own story. Perhaps signs they do recognize the hypocrisy? And, where are Nancy and Harry? Haven’t heard a peep form them that I have seen.

Apparently not on Pakistan's list...It appears he enjoyed the protection of their ISA for years while we pumped billions of dollars into their nuclear armed military dictatorship. Strange bedfellows indeed...
