A magnificent mission of the four-door Navy SEALs, and it took plenty of guts on the part of this president to pull the trigger on this one. But it certainly didn’t take long for the left stream media to take a shot at President Bush. Make no mistake this is a great accomplishment for the young president. But let’s not forget the groundwork and intelligence was laid by the Bush administration. Still, CNN and Democratic Congressman Gary Ackerman couldn’t resist the moment. Video below the fold.
The first video is a clip from last night CNN coverage. Wolf Blitzer is interviewing former Bush administration official Fran Townsend. He gets everything off to a good start by rubbing Townsend’s nose in it. Nice job Wolf. Oh and about the 1 min. mark, notice a comment that bleeds into the on-air broadcast. I’ve listened to this about 10 times and it sure sounds like a CNN producer, who apparently doesn’t know his Mike is feeding into the production, seems to drop a nice expletive deleted on Ms. Townsend. You tell me. Either way, nice job CNN.

giving obama credit for killing OBL is like crediting the caboose for the work of the entire train. OBL was doomed when GWB built the engine.

That is why PBO BETTER say THANK-YOU for GWB instead of “bashing him” for setting the foundation to taking out OBL.
He will still get the credit every time anyone goes to the gas pump or grocery store. But the MSM will not give him credit for it. Irrational exuberance in the MSM will go on for weeks until they flog this horse to death.
So let’s see if I have this straight. Under Obama’s policies US forces who encounter a terrorist can put two bullets in his brain but are not allowed to pour water up his nose?

and not complain about his energy policy until gas hits at least $10 a gallon.
You can hear the producer say “F you” after Townsend says that this is a tremendous achievement.
I was just glancing at the Drudge Report this Morning, and it says that OBL lived there for 6 years! My goodness is our intelligence service that poor? What about our relationship with Pakistan? Finally, what the hell was Obama waiting for since last August? And I thought Clinton waited too long!
I’m sorry to Monday morning QB here, but something just does not seem right here. It stinks big time. Have to say not impressed with either Bush or Obama. It’s amazing with all the technology we have that we could not locate him (in the same place) for 6 years.
I’m also amazed that Obama did this (kill OBL) along with the long form Certificate of Live Birth release all within a few days of each other. Can not help to think that if Trump did not raise hell in the public about this issue then my bet is OBL would still be alive today and the long form Certificate would have never been released.
Now if ONLY the Republican party could learn from this. Quit that go along to get along crap. The Democrats, media and press are NOT your friends Republicans. They just use you. If you go hard core as Trump has demonstrated, then things finally start happening. Playing “nice” does not get you very far. Just my two cents.
Not to mention the visual unpleasantness of 90%* of their news anchors - all hags, metrosexuals, and cows. Do they have any straight white guys under 50 in the studio?

At the end of the party, there are very few people who are going to believe Obama has had anything to do with this. Are the Democrats going to talk about how the Bush’s administration method of waterboarding actually was successful in obtaining the information to track Bin Laden? Will they go after the mountains of other terrorists found on the hard drives? I suspect the polls will show credit will be given to the military and to Bush. Obama will be sitting in a corner wanting people to look at him.
No, the liberals will ignore the story about how our enhanced interrogation helped get information which led us to Bin Laden. They will play it up as a heroic action on the part of Obama only. There will be no mention of Bush era policies which helped contribute to the success of the operation.
