President Barack Obama and other administration officials are considering releasing a photo of Osama bin Laden's corpse on Tuesday, according to a report.
Also being considered for release are videos from "helmet cams" of the Navy SEALS elite team that carried out the operation in a town just north of Islamabad, Pakistan, ABC News reported. The troops captured the mission on tape wearing the helmet cameras.
"We are looking at releasing additional information, details about the raid as well as any other types of material, possibly including photos. We want to understand exactly what the possible reaction might be to the release of this information," White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan said, according to the report.
“... Prepared.” Meaning the photoshopping is underway.
Will it have a cute little green background in it ?
Suck it up, Brennan, release the photos and videos. Give the proof to those who want it, and don’t quiver before those who want to be outraged (hint: they already are).
The Saddam video was a good thing.
LOL! Thought the same thing. They really know how to shoot themselves in the foot, don't they?
They released footage of JFK getting his head blown off as well as Reagan getting shot but some nutjob, but hesitate with a world-wide terrorist??
I’ll bet there are a few photos of OBL being “tea bagged” on the way back to the ship....
foxnews.com has live video, right now nothing going on with the state dept briefing or the WH presstitute briefing either, but both feeds are up as if they’re waiting for something imminent.
"Osama Bin Laden's Death Photo" should have been "prepared" by announcing to a pool of press photographers from all over the World:
"There he is, ladies and gentlemen. Take all the photos that you need."
Ya know, like the Bolivians did with Che Guevara:
The news that Barack "Photoshop" Obama is "preparing" a photo for release does not inspire confidence ..... especially when the subject is lying next to whale crap at the bottom of the ocean.
The incompetence of this Administration is mind-boggling.
Well, hopefully they would have the faces and identifying marks of the operatives fuzzed out. That does take time.
I would expect they’d like to avoid revealing the identities of any of the men who took him down - at least I’d hope they would.
Release it already! What's the problem....could it be WORSE than watching hundreds of Americans jump to their deaths from the twin towers?
GROW UP WHITE HOUSE CHILDREN!!!!
ya like prepared like Obam’s bc...
It looks like his pants are undone.
I would hope that by now they realize that any images will be checked thoroughly for photoshopping! lol
The same crew who made the birth certificate is working on the picture.
What good would a faked OBL photo do?
The “deathers” are as bad as the “truthers”: convinced of a devious conspiracy without a shred of proof thereof, yet demand perfect explanation of all they don’t understand and cry “fake!” regardless.
There was a raid on that site. Helicopters converged. Troops were there. A helicopter was destroyed. Shots were fired. Soldiers left. Photos of a bloody bedroom were released. The Pakistani government is outraged. Survivors were freed. DNA was sampled and tested. A makeshift funeral for the enemy was performed and the body dumped. Intel was gathered. A President announced the incident. Photos and videos of the body will be released. Save for an unreleased video or two, OBL will never be heard from again. Why, and how, would all this - and it would have to be ALL this - be faked?
Ummm... I was joking. Just a little barb to tease the administration about their propensity for releasing stuff that turns out not to be on the up-and-up.
Sorry, I didn’t think a sarc tag was necessary.
