What good would a faked photo do? Either he is dead of whatever cause, or he is alive and will prove it soon enough.
Millions of fanatics believe he is dead. Those who think he is alive won’t soon enough. A photo of his brains- dripping body will be just as good as the Bolivian Che photo.
AQ may claim “fake” regardless. If they don’t want to be convinced, they won’t be. And who cares if they are? The point was to kill OBL; reality will catch up soon enough.
