What?!
Its just “have your cake, and eat it too”.
The administration boosts its poll numbers by “bringing justice to bin laden”, then again by “bringing the CIA interrogators to justice”.
Its not “don’t let a crisis go to waste”, it is “why not profit at least twice by claiming credit for both winning a battle, and also by prosecuting the victor for not fighting fair, or humanely.”
