President Obama left the White House this morning a little after 9:30 am. He wasn’t on his way to the Capitol building, where grieving friends and families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty hold a yearly commemorative service. Though he was invited to recognize the fallen and offer condolences by speaking at the annual Peace Officers’ Memorial Service, he instead spent this fine Sunday playing a round of golf with aide Ben Finkenbinder, White House trip director Marvin Nicholson and U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk. Every president deserves down time.

I saw the visiting police officers and their families this weekend at the Fallen Officer Memorial site. They had black ribbons across their badges.
Obama and Holder hate the police, esp. white police and “uncle tom” black policemen, Hispanic border patrolmen, Sheriffs like Arpaio, and all the other law enforcement people who want to do their job without political interference and denigration.
Well, they will have their chance in November 2012 to let these two bastards know it (I was going to say, “in spades”) but someone might mistake this old saying for something else.
