Democrats Recruit Protesters for GOP Town Halls

The House Democrats’ campaign wing is trolling for Medicare protesters at town halls this week in 20 Republican-held congressional districts, The Caucus Blog of The New York Times reports. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DSCC), which has launched a website called Don’t End Medicare, will provide picket signs and budget talking points to anyone who wants to attend.

DSCC robo-calls denouncing Medicare reform are going out to seniors in Florida, Arizona, and other states in an attempt to ratchet up the noise level at constituent meetings with pro-reform lawmakers.

Republicans say House Democrats are showing more interest in GOP meetings than in their own.

And we can’t do the same?? Huh? Where’s the fire in the belly of the Tea Party? Let’s spit in their eye and make their lives miserable too!

I don’t see the problem. We knew and we know they’re going to disrupt us, so why can’t we do the same?

That’s what I’ve been saying. The election wasn’t the end of the fight, it was the beginning.

Except the dems aren’t holding townhalls. From what I’ve heard, they’ve been directed not to have any.

Good - when they show up and disrupt, we’ll kick their butts soundly. I’m ready for a little action anyway.

I have been to a few of my Congressman’s town hall meeting and I have never seen the press present. If the press somehow decides to show up then I will know there is a “setup” going on.

Respectfully, I don't agree.

If the Dems need to resort to community organizing and strong arm disruptive stuff, we can show that this is their world.

Tea Partiers give an excellent counter-example, a grass roots, spontaneous, visceral-but-cordial movement that has depth, honesty, purpose and momentum.

If we were to obstruct their little lie-filled pep rallies, we would be no better than they.

Like your tagline, BTW.

I heard there was a web site that list which Repubs are being targeted, when they are holding events and list some suggested left wing mantras that could be used. Does anyone have a link to this site? Forewarned really can be fore armed, if we get there first and make more noise.

Democrats Recruit Protesters for GOP Town Halls

I am not recommending, or even suggesting it, but can we speculate in depth the probable results of the GOP recruiting disrupters ("protestors") for 'RAT Town Hall meeting?

I'll start.
Violence, as in muggings that 'Rat thugs have been known to practice.
Slick quick action by the local (union) cops escorting the "pretestors" out, unlike what we normally see happen at GOP events.
A riot, which would then be blamed on "Tea Party" immaturity and irresponsibility.

It should be real interesting if they cause problems at Col. Allen West’s townhalls. No one intimidates him. Grey Eagle

They want to avoid anything exposing them for what they are.
