In the early 1900's, some doctors son died from contaminated milk. There was cow poop allowed to pile up and the cows were in dirty stalls. It contaminated the cans for milk. This doctor started a campaign to boil all milk so no more children would die. That wasn't the answer and I understand his grief. What they needed to do was make sure milk came from clean dairy's.
obviously you have to be more careful with raw milk. but, think about this, the homogenized milk can be dirty....so we are drinking milk with poo in it, or bacteria, it is still the dirty milk, just dead poo and bacteria.
