I recall that Donald Trump had suggested that there was a chance the BC could be a forgery before it was released, saying that he had encountered forgers sometimes in his business dealings on Wall Street. But since the White House release of the purported BC, Trump seems to have exited the controversy, not giving the public his opinion on whether the BC is authentic or not.
Whose side is Donald Trump on NOW?
I think the bigger question is: whose side was Trump on when he started his whole birth certificate charade?
ML/NJ
And Trump suggested the same after Obama's forgery was released in his New Hampshire news conference:
Trump-
"Why didn't he do it a long time ago?... I want to look at it. I hope it is true. ... Now, we have to look at it. We have to see if is real? Is it proper? I hope it checks out properly. ... Why didn't he do it a long time ago? When people were asking... People asked me for my birth certificate and I gave it 2 days later. ...
...I'm going to look at ...We will have many people looking at it it is amazing that it materializes. Experts will look at it. ... Lot's of people have to look at it..."
Question: If is not true for example, [Obama's birth certificate] does this mean this country is being lead by an illegal president?
Trump: Lets hope it is true. The question is negative. If it's not true ; I hope it is true. I won't answer that question now. ....

“Whose side is Donald Trump on NOW?”
Good question.
Losing his TV show would have been too big a hit in his pocketbook, so bowing out of the race is therefore logical.
I didn’t see the Correspondent’s Dinner where Obama nastily mocked Trump. What I heard from others is The Donald was really ticked-off by the treatment.
Maybe he will be a behind-the-scenes guy in the Republican Party, but that is only a guess.
What I do know is this: Obama’s handling of this nation and economy has got to be hurting Trump’s casino and hotel businesses. Trump makes the vast amount of his fortune off of the disposable cash spent by middle-class folks at his casinos and hotels. They do not have jobs and money to spend - Donald has no income.
That is enough reason to switch from Democrat to Republican.
Trump is on Trump’s side. Thanks justiceseeker93.
I’m disappointed there’s not been a peep out of The Donald. But, he could have had a visit and warned his contracts would be scrutinized. Something is definitely not right and I smell an ice cream eatin’ golf playin’ RAT.
