Just for fun, I re-read her book. The McLame people were the ones that prevented her from being herself. Without those idiots around to mess it up, just watch!
When she jumps in, the media, and her opponents won’t have a damn clue how to handle her “going rogue”.
I’m gonna have to buy a BIG bag of popcorn for the show!
we will need to unite behind whoever is selected. so i try to be fair, and nice. Romney has some good points.
but, his advisors, have REPEATEDLY been quoted saying truly ugly things. They sound VERY much like democrats.
...and i can respect a man, who admits mistakes. but he stands behind Romneycare? which is using 40% of the MA budget, compared to the National average of 25%?
finally, the advisor is doing wishful thinking. The 2 hour documentary in June, the RV “Nation” tour she is starting this weekend... she’s running.
and if Romney or ANYONE thinks being vicious, arrogant, and mean-spirited will get them aheaad... they forget we already have Obama. we are looking for someone opposite of him...
Smart like a fox
If she doesn’t run ( which I think is not going to happen......she IS running! ), I won’t give a damn about her recommendation.
Why so mysterious anyway? Who do you support over Sarah Palin?
Prediction: the first legitimate Republican candidate smart enough to stay OFF the bash or denigrate Palin bandwagon probably gets prime consideration from joining her as her VEEP.

Every poll you see shows Romney leading or near the top yet I never come across anyone for him, either online or in real space. Almost nobody. Anywhere.
Who are these people who are for Romney, where are they?
I think the polling being put out re: the Republican nomination is utter BS. And worthless too.
What would those be? I'm stumped.
I agree we will need to unite around whoever is nominated, but Romney would be about the worst possible scenario. While the conservative base may be a small segment of the vote, it is where the overwhelming amount of energy comes from. It is from the base that rallies get filled, phonebanks get staffed, etc, etc. Romney would be a massive buzzkill because the conservative base would at best be lukewarm about him and, at worst, downright hostile. No, it really can't be Mitt.
I find it funny that everyone keeps saying Palin won't run, yet to me it looks like she is prepping to do exactly that. As for me, I sure hope she does.
"The bottom line is Sarah Palin is not going to run for president scares the crap outta us and we're hoping she doesn't run," says a Republican adviser close to front-runner Mitt Romney
My number one is Cain. I would happily vote for Palin if she wins the nomination. I am not being mysterious, just being cordial since this thread was about Palin. I find the acrimony among supporters of these two ridiculous since they are the two most quintessential “real America” candidates in the race. I prefer Cain because he’s tougher on unions and has a bit more of a free enterprise background and I think he’ll jump uglier than Palin will in debates with Obama and I think that’s important.
But again, I really like SP alot. BTW, I was among the first columnist to support Palin as the pick for McCain’s VP and have a long history at American Thinker of very pro-Palin articles. I wrote a piece on the day of her resignation that is true, every word of it, today.
Sarah has the MSM and the E-GOP totally confused...right where she wants them.
HA, I was thinking the same thing. I know of not one actual Republican that supports Romney. None. Nada. Zilch. I can only guess that those who support him are voters that dutifully vote Republican for whatever reason but don't follow politics all that closely. His name is in the news all the time, so around 15-20% simply recognize the name Mitt Romney and tell pollsters they like him. Not saying he can't compete in the primaries as I am sure he will raise big money, but I really doubt he will generate much enthusiasm. If he wins the nomination, it will only be because the actual conservative base and Tea Party folks split their votes between too many candidates.
Romney does not hold office, he has only done so once, that was a single term in which he left with 34% approval and no reelect chance.
Romney has no natural constituency nor base, nor any particular political interest other than political celebrity, he should not even be running for President.
>>> If she doesnt run ( which I think is not going to happen......she IS running! ), I wont give a damn about her recommendation.>>>
You know, I’m not sure that really makes a lot of sense. How can you support someone so fervently and not “give a damn” about her recommendation? I can understand luke warm supporting someone and not giving a damn. And I can understand supporting fervently and taking some slight consideration.
But I gotta tell you, simply from a logical standpoint, fervent support but not giving a damn about a recommendation just doesn’t add up.
(and I agree, likely she will run, just having a logical conversation here...)
Now wouldn’t this be a hoot if Gov. Palin was in NH next Thursday on the same day Mittens annouce his bid.
She doesn't need any MAJOR donors. She has the people behind her. If she runs she will have more money than you can fathom. And she won't have to beg or sell her soul for it either. If she runs the people will support her and she will probably win it all. Your guy...not likely.
BUMP!
Agreed. I don’t know anybody enthusiastic about Romney. But, then, most everybody I know is a bitter, bitter person desperately clinging to their guns and their Bible.
Hmmm, good point. Because there may be some big money sitting on the sidelines that’s reluctant to come in for one of the micro-candidates because they’re waiting to see what Palin does.
I'm filing this one under "W" for "Whistling Past The Graveyard"
