The activists said the attack on Rastan and Talbiseh, in the central province of Homs, occurred after authorities cut all telecommunications with the area. They added that all roads leading to the two towns have been closed off by security forces and soldiers.

Muslims killing Muslims. How is this not bad? This is great. Keep it up boys. Knock your selves out. BTW The 1930 film “All Quiet on the Western Front’’ is currently unreeling now on Turner Classic Movies. I’m not debating Remarque’s work here. This is just a great film from a point of cinematography.
I’m sure Obama and NATO will be all over this.
/s
nothing new here. they have slaughtered entire towns before.
Thanks nuconvert.
JFYI Remarque wrote TWO books, All quiet on the western
front and The Road Back, which is an alternate ending.
In The Road Back the hero survives the war and is followed
in his life after wars end, all the symptoms of PTSD are
displayed in this postwar setting.
Kind of hard to find but worth reading.
I also prefer the original movie...
I thought in “The Road Back’’ the only previous character alluded to was Tjaden.
My copy is packed up or I’d look to see.

Oh wait, never mind, Basha yerhedin fixed it— they are installing suggestion boxes in front of all police departments (not making this up).
Everyone go home now. We really hate killing more of you.
The people want a new government and the government wants a new people.
Yeah, freedom. Freedom is not what we think it is when it comes to Islam. The Islamic Brotherhood seems to be taking over Egypt. Sharia is expected to become the law. Nice change there.
