Unless you’ve walked in the shoes of of anyone who is in complete despair and has no hope, I suppose some wouldn’t understand.
I don’t condone suicide, nor do I think it a selfish act as some think it is.
I understand what you are saying about the issue, it is complex, and varies depending upon the situation. However, putting the power of who lives and who dies into a single person is dangerous game, as absolute power corrupts absolutely. People all throughout society should know about a living will, and take one out on yourself, dictating whether feeding tubes, sedatives, etc. should be used on you.
