The director of “The Undefeated,” a glowing new film about Sarah Palin, said he plans to release an “X-rated” version of the film to better convey “vile” comments about her from sources including celebrities and obscure Twitter users.
The documentary echoes Palin’s own appeal by leading with her victimhood and in a format – two hours of unmoderated hagiography — that’s aimed at thrilling the faithful, not engaging doubters. The film begins with a 15-minute montage of Palin foes using obscene language and insulting her disabled son. After that opening, the film includes the voices of no other Palin critics, and is composed largely of Palin friends, relatives, and supporters singing her praises to the camera and making the case that her Alaska record has been underplayed and misunderstood.
“I’m trying to get in back of this concept of why big organizations and why people think it’s acceptable to have this pathology with this woman,” said filmmaker Stephen Bannon of his decision to lead with “stuff that is so vile.”
And while the film has been portrayed as a strategic venture– the RealClearPolitics story in which it was announced described it as her “Secret Weapon” in presidential politics – its substance and timing were dictated by the filmmaker, who had not previously met her; the film features extended passages from her audiobook of “Going Rogue.”

The point isn't her victimhood, because I don't think she sees herself as a victim and I certainly don't. The point is that her detractors are so vile. And they prove it every time they open their mouths or take pen to paper.
The point is that political discourse is all but impossible with the Left. They are psychologically incapable of it, they don't want it, they prefer to shut it down, demonize it, make sure their own are afraid to listen or entertain any notions of independent thought. Anyone who dares to step out of line, they'll fall on them like a pack of dogs.
So, we shouldn't expect to convince or persuade them, we just have to defeat them.

I don’t trust any candidates they have nothing bad to say about.
They don't seem to be able to help themselves. Look at the howling about the statements she made about Paul Revere; it was absolutely reflexive! They automatically assumed she was wrong, because they truly believe she is an uneducated hick, because she isn't a lawyer, and didn't graduate from an Ivy League university.

That sounds like about 10 minutes longer than I can sit through of that venom. Is a greatest hits recap of the most hateful things said about Palin going to change minds or cure whatever brain defect prohibits people from seeing how sick it was when the comments were originally made, 2 years ago, or 2 hours ago?
Jim, you know how religious FReeper folk can tag a posting "Ecumenical," and in so doing, proscribe any dissenters from entering and posing antithetical meanderings that would upset the cloth-ed? Would you consider allowing a "Palinmenical" designation to be applied to positive Palin threads which would fence out the trolls, haters, dirtbags, homosexuals and Inebriated Latvian Hit-men?
It would be easy enough to self-police it by each offender being allowed one "I didn't know about this" slip-up, at which point he-she-it would be politely advised of its' error. After that, we hit the "Abuse" button and Admin Mod (or someone equally lethal) does as he sees fit.
We have seen all the Palin haters' tricks ad infinitum, ad nauseum, and it would be nice on only the positive Palin threads (God knows there won't be alot of them...) to fence out the shetbirds and have a chance just to savor the small specks of good left on earth, just once before it all burns down.
Whaddaya think? Go for a new world record and respond to two of my queries in one calendar year?

There has never been such a concerted effort by gov’t and their propaganda machines to destroy a private citizen as this. The WH knows that Sarah is their greatest threat. She has more balls than any other frontrunner.
I will bet by the time she announces, is running and in the midst of her campaign that JimRob zots you.

Victim no, if anyone embodies Daniel Whitney philosophy of Get-ur-Dun it is Sarah.. Foes? no something worse I can't get my arms around.
But we know who many of them are, but what does it say about them and their common culture that they want to try to destroy Sarah through this precious innocent? My G_d how far certain segments of our culture have sunk. To my knowledge we have never seen the conservative go after an innocent kid of someone on the other side of isle, this is unfathomable.
