“chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers”
He probably cannot screw his next gig up as badly as he did this one.

This Ghoulsbee or Foolsbee character is doing such a splendid job at fixing the economy, he will be sorely missed I’m sure.

I predicted this on FR 2 weeks ago, although I thought it would be early 2012.

Apparently, his appearances on the weekend shows was more than a bump in the road.

He should be able to do a much better job of teaching because he now has real world proof that his ideas not only don’t work, but actually make things worse.

"plans to return to teaching economics at the University of Chicago this fall"
It's a cryin' shame. The Chicago School of Economics used to be highly respected. Yeah, it's been a while.

Austan Goolsbee, chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, plans to return to teaching economics at the University of Chicago this fall, the White House announced Monday night. Leaving a position promoting something that doesn't make sense to go back to teaching something that has a chance to make sense.
It didn't take him long to decide did it.

Since I first ran for the U.S. Senate, Austan has been a close friend and one of my most trusted advisers, President Barack Obama said in the White Houses announcement. Over the past several years, he has helped steer our country out of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and although there is still much work ahead, his insights and counsel have helped lead us toward an economy that is growing and creating millions of jobs. He is one of Americas great economic thinkers. While I am looking forward to returning home to Chicago, I will always be proud of the years I have spent working for this President, Goolsbee said. I believe that his judgment, his courage in confronting the worst economic crisis of our lifetimes, and his commitment to the American people have made a tremendous difference for the nation.
Barf. These BS platitudes are the worst thing to read after eating a nice dinner. These people are simply disgusting.

I wonder if he got tired of waking up every morning and shilling for this fraud usurper.....I mean at some point a guy like Goolsbe must know their economic plans are worthless

University of Chicago? The country is run by Chicago thugs.
To: TSgt
Totally unsurprisingly Mr. Goolsbee has no actual business experience. Some very pretty sounding awards (won the debate club for example). No indication that he’s ever actually had to make payroll. Un-@#&$% real.

didn’t even last a year at this position. I bet he’s been thinking about it, but had to dig deep the past few days to tell the bold faced lies he had to tell about the jobs report.
