The whole thrust of my NB item this morning was the bias and bad judgment involved in Morning Joe’s decision to black out the story during the first half-hour.

The whole thrust of my NB item this morning was the bias and bad judgment involved in Morning Joes decision to black out the story during the first half-hour. I know. It's my contention that it wasn't bad news judgment. They were simply mocking the whole affair. They weren't burying Weinergate, they were highlighting it. Any other read of the situation is a bit naive, I think.
Now I'm not saying they are above burying important news, or coloring coverage in a way that obscures reality. But in this instance, I thought it was harmless.
