I can not claim too much knowledge about SoCal. I only attended UCSD for a short time in the Eighties, and did vacation there a few times in the past.
You insinuate that I do not know about the virulence of the Re-Conquistas. Not true.
I am from the City of Detroit. Once formerly one of the greatest cities in the world. I saw what the leftists did there. I experienced it.
I chose to get out, and save my life. I now live in the beautiful northwest Lower Peninsula, the nicest place I’ve ever been.
I don’t hang out here, at FreeRepublic, to be ignorant about what’s going on in the rest of the world.

Yes, it does stand to reason. But we are talking about laws written by Democrat politicians to garner and lock in votes. So, there are "protected classes" of people. 'Good decent people' are not in one of the protected classes.

I lived in Azusa from 1955, when I was born, to just before my 11th birthday, when my mother moved us to Westchester. My mother worked for Aerojet. Every year they would sponsor a big picnic in the park. The last one I remember devolved into a hugh fight between the ethnic groups. Back then girls wore bee-hive hairdos. They would hide double-edge razor blades in their hair so as to cause injury if they were grabbed. The race war has been going on much longer than this article would let on.

I know So-Cal only faintly. From my experience, most people who have never been to northern Michigan think it is all like Detroit.
