Real Clear Politics ^

"He's getting beat up pretty good. Last night I called for the congressman to take one for the team and step aside and resign. many of you in our poll, 65% of you disagreed with what I said," MSNBC host Ed Schultz said tonight. Schultz first called for Rep. Weiner's resignation on last night's program.

"Weiner's lies, you have to admit, are going to be a distraction for the Democrats, and I don't think they can afford that for the 2012 election. Too much is at stake. This isn't about Weiner. It's about the agenda. It's about the liberal agenda. It's about the Democratic party saving face and credibility. Conservatives love to use stories like Weiner's to paint the entire party as corrupt," Schultz added.

All the more ‘proof’ that our side should just let the ‘punching bag’ stay in place. Let the RATs take down the punching bag.

Special Ed isn’t much different than Weiner. Wouldn’t be surprised to find him on the Tweeter list pretending to be a 12 year old.

But last night he said this wasn’t a democrat or republican, liberal or conservative issue. I firmly believe he got his marching orders from Nancy to start calling for Weiner to resign. It’s scary that liberal politicians have their own state run media. But that’s just the way it is.

This buffoon is just running cover for the rest of the liberal thugs.
Wiener is of no further to them so he goes under the bus.

Pretending to be a 12 year old? You mean being himself?

Now why (cough cough Clinton) would anybody (cough cough Rangel) get that idea (cough cough Edwards)? I just can't think (cough cough Kennedy) of any reason for it...

I think a great web or mobile app would be some sort of graphic display of “calls to resign” once something like this starts. The app would take into account all sort of factors, the number of people that want the politician out, the ones that have issued strong support, lukewarm support, combined with some notion of how important the people are and what their jobs are.

And it would have some notion of a “tipping point” where the chorus becomes so loud that it’s impossible for the pol to continue.

A bit like a death pool in some ways, but more of a “Resign Now” tracking app.

He has a point. We set up Mary Jo and Teddy - and we ran the car into the water to kill her after Teddy boinked her.

The early 'tea party' types paid women to be man-handled by Clinton - and paid for dem goons to trash the women so no one would believe them when they told the truth.

We forced Clinton to lie under oath - all the nuts on the left know that one...

Kennedy's and Edwards et al were doing the deed and hurting the women involved - and YES, it was the right wing behind all of it. We created Edward's love child - and FORCED him to lie about it.

Forgot - we got Rangel to cheat on his taxes and Barney Frank to let some of his boys run a house of prostitution in his basement. NONE of them resigned because it was all the fault of the right wing.

Barbra WaWa tried to say Weiner might have been texting the pictures to his wife to show her how much he missed her. No one would believe such a stupid lie except THE PRESS, AP and the MSM - because they swallow anything a dem shoots out....

Perfectly wasted opportunity for a good headline, it should say:

“Ed is down on Weiner.”

Sometimes, when speaking amongst their own, the truth slips out.

Ironically, Sgt. Schlitz is just back from his own time out for attacking Laura Ingram. This is kind of like Bob Beckel pretending to be a “born again” Christian after being blackmailed by a whore. Reformed whores always become the biggest prudes.
