Clueless security screeners at Logan International Airport the launching pad for the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center were unaware of the terror threat posed by Osama bin Ladens al-Qaeda network, didnt know how to spot Mace and even had trouble speaking English, according to astonishing revelations in newly released court documents.

Maybe Bill Clinton should have given Logan a heads up considering he knew about the plot in October of 1995.
When a government (run by liberals) hires.....this is what you often get.
I always get singled out for screening at Logan. I guess grandmothers look really threatening.
and even had trouble speaking EnglishHey!
Logan has always been a mess. I remember calling my wife from Logan Sunday night Sept 10, to comment about how f....ed up the whole place was.
Why is this coming out almost a decade after 9-11? A misguided attempt to make the current TSA buffoons look good in comparison?
A sensible rule to live by:
If you must get to Logan, through Boston, to get where you are going....
“You REALLY don’t want to go there”
Try T.F.Green Airport in Warwick, R.I. just down the road.
When my (late) mother flew from Chicago for a visit, I told her, “Land at Logan, call a cab. Land at Green, I’ll be at the gate.” She never called that cab.
The 9-11 Logan airport ‘screeners’ were Somali nationals, sub-contracted by the then Mass Port head on (bribe no doubt) and were purposefully positioned there to allow 9-11 perpetrator through the gate. I was there two months before, same terminal and saw the ‘help’.
Didn’t the 9/11 terrorist go through security in Maine ? They flew to Boston for a connecting flight. They did not go through a screening process at Logan.
At least Mohammad Atta did, and I think one other was with him. There is a photo of Atta coming through Portland, ME airport security, and there are other security videos that have him the night before (WalMart, an ATM). I'm not sure about the others on the flight out of Boston.
What difference does it make? The 9/11 hijackers didn’t break any rules. Knives and box cutters were perfectly OK to carry on planes back then. Sure, there were some serious problems surrounding the screeners in those days, but in this case they didn’t do anything wrong.
Despite spending billions beefing up airport security, today’s TSA is about as clueless and bumbling as were the screeners at Logan in 2001. The two known terrorist attacks involving airplanes since 9-11, the shoe bomber and the panty bomber plots, were not uncovered by US security and even if these terrorist had boarded flights in the US it is doubtful the gumshoes at the TSA would have detected them. The TSA is more successful at detecting breast implants than terrorist threats.
And if we'd known then what we know now (that the muslim scum were going to use the planes as bombs), box cutters and knives would have been as ineffective as a roll of toilet paper. Coincidentally, a roll of toilet paper is about all the government goons have left us to defend ourselves with.
Oh, I agree. I’d rather that everybody on the plane was armed with whatever weapon they are proficient with.
It would be the safest plane in the sky.
