I was just addressing the point about his ecoterrorist views, which he seemed to develop in the 1990s. He developed a lot of more bizarre views after the 1988 presidential run, like turning against smoking rights.
There are more than a few southernors who used to be democrats who I wouldn’t dismiss out-of-hand; I’d rather evaluate Perry on his extensive record in the past decade than fret about what he was doing in the 1980s.
I understand what you were saying now... but I do not trust anyone like perry without verification and there is plenty of actions and words of recent vintage to concern me.
