I don't know what percentage 5,000 is of all the troops in Afghanistan, but it has to be a sizeable number.

So, lemmee get this straight ... zero takes away x percentage of our troops and leaves the short handed ones in harm's way for a year?

Tell you what, zero ... only if you reduce YOUR staff and security by an equal percentage.

Obama is probably doing most of the troops a favor if he draws down the mid-grade officer powerpoint rangers and the senior enlisted types who run around yelling at people for stupid sh1t.

Also, we should tell the Afghans 1 year. If they can’t get their act together in 365 days, screw them.
