Former half-term Gov. Sarah Palin has reportedly packed in her bus tour...halfway through.
Real Clear Politics is reporting that Palin and her family have returned to Alaska from their "One Nation" bus tour, despite tentatively scheduled stops in Iowa and South Carolina.

Though Palin and her staff never announced a timeline for the remaining legs of her trip, aides had drafted preliminary itineraries that would have taken her through the Midwest and Southeast at some point this month. But those travel blueprints are now in limbo, RCP has learned, as Palin and her family have reverted to the friendly confines of summertime Alaska, where the skies are currently alight for over 19 hours a day and the Bristol Bay salmon fishing season is nearing its peak.
Palin's intent to visit Iowa and South Carolina, as well as one stop in New Hampshire, caused some speculation that she was starting to get serious about a run for president in 2012.
The bus tour was launched over Memorial Day weekend, and was particularly scrutinized after one event in Boston where Palin badly flubbed the story behind Paul Revere's ride.
The only other possible candidate that I have an interest in is DeMint, and I'm not certain what he will finally do. Once we have a nominee, we'll all know what we're up against. Will she/he be a Rino? A liberal? Pro-life? The truly difficult decisions are in the future.
Until we have a nominee I am doing my best to support the person that I believe in, right until the bitter end.

Haha, there’s nothing to admit here, as much as flamers like to build their straw men... and as much as some people on the net like to present themselves as having some magical, unimpeachable insight into everyone else’s motivations and meanings, even after being corrected.
I pointed you to what was reported in both NYC and N.H. papers, none of which took polls. Yet you claimed that Plain's people took polls, so the ball is actually in YOUR court. So how about going undercover and get the "insider" info re those "polls' that the Palin people took..........according to you?
I don't bet, but you shouldn't bet on a topic you are apparently ill/uninformed about and prefer to post your delusions about, instead of facts.

I thought you’d moved on to the thread where Sarah Palin corrected the nonsensical misconception contained in the article linked on this one. I’m here still defending myself against the newly arrived, but you’re welcome to re-join them I guess. Please though read all my posts on this thread, because I’ve already been repeating myself for a while now.

I do NOT “love” Palin.
I don’t have a crystal ball, so I can’t speak to whether she is or isn’t. I thought she was either making the decision with the bus tour, or had decided and was going to announce at the culmination of it. But if you’re thinking that solely because of the story at the top of this thread - she’s refuted it by twitter, and others have explained the break in her bus tour as pre-scheduled and for taking care of seasonal, summer business back home in Alaska.
How about when she says that she isn’t running?
You can say whatever you like about Cain. Palin and Paul supporters have been trashing him for weeks. Palin supporters trash Michele Bachmann at every opportunity. I don't care and I won't run crying to Jim or post pictures of Jim and my candidate trying to intimidate you into silence. I think those kinds of tactics are disgusting and juvenile.
Couldn’t your time be better spent if you are “pro-Palin”, and wouldn’t it cut down on thread hijackings if the “pro-Palin” posters don’t jump on her threads to berate, insult, and mock her supporters?

I am, as it’s important when being flamed that I understand what I wrote that could possibly have earned it. I didn’t think you had read it, because I don’t understand what issue you were originally taking with what I wrote here, in its entirety. I haven’t even criticized her, which if you’ve read all I wrote here, I’m surprised you didn’t realize. I asked a question about what was going on, and the story was refuted by Sarah Palin herself while I was still dealing with false accusations here. Other posters here just told me straight up about the pre-planned summer work back in Alaska, which answered my question. I respect people like that.
If someone feels insulted at anything that I have written, perhaps they should check themselves to find out why.
