We had a neighbor who had emphysema and was depressed about his life. He arranged for the local hospital to take his life and harvest his organs at the same time. Well, not exactly at the same time, perhaps. As I understand it, they sedate such ‘donors’ with morphine and cut organs out while the ‘donor’ is still alive, and then euthanize them.
