Regarding the term “homosexual”, I understand that the homosexual community is trying to do away with that term. The reason is that they consider it a clinical sort of description. They want to make the word “homosexual” fall into disuse, as the term “Negro” has falled into disuse.

They prefer the term “gay”, or descriptions such as gay man, lesbian, trans-gendered to describe who they are.

I’m frustrated that a perfectly good word, “gay”, now means only homosexual. The original meaning of that word has fallen into disuse, speaking of that concept. Do you ever hear the word gay used anymore in a context which doesn’t mean homosexual???

Kinda like how they hijacked the rainbow. That’s always bothered me.

No, and whenever it is used, it's a cause for giggling . . . which is so sad.

Negro used to correctly describe the race of basically Africans . . . and no one was offended.

God used to correctly describe the Intelligent Designer . . . Disney, et al, would talk incessantly about "Mother Nature" and then, of course, "evolution" became vogue.

"Religious" used to be fully descriptive. . . then along came "Faith Based."

And, of course, I could go on and on and on.
